Britain’s Daily Telegraph spoke briefly with actor Bob Hoskins on the sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, stating that the actor appeared to have some reservations on the plan for the live actors to be animated on screen through CGI motion capture. Hoskins stated, “I don’t know how it’s going to work out,” and describing the idea as “a bit soft.” Original Roger Rabbit director Robert Zemeckis is slated to direct the sequel as well, and has already directed Hoskins in a motion-captured CGI performance for Zemeckis’ adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
