Since Ben Affleck – who is both starring in and producing the movie – stepped back from the director’s chair for “The Batman” last month, a new director has been found to fill the chair and that person will be Matt Reeves [“Cloverfield” and the upcoming “War for the Planet of the Apes”].
Although Reeves has not signed on the dotted line as of yet, he is expected to shortly for the movie which will begin filming later this year for an expected 2018 or 2019 release date.
