Johnny Bravo wouldn't have made it past 10 episodes. PPG would look more like the reboot than the original (bleh) almost everything else would be cancelled for being too "Weird". Jack and Courage would still be considered classics and Dexter's Lab would probably be more "grounded" in psuedo...
I think it's looser in some areas and tighter in others. Cartoon Network has pulled back on psuedo "bad" words but is able to feature more complex relationships and non traditional family structures, and through these more emotionally more mature moves, they do end up with some more sexual...
Those would probably be something of a mess. They're very rooted in their era and I can't imagine Animaniacs passing S&P today, or meshing with any network execs sense of humor, heh.
Going to have to agree with most of the opinions here. Especially regarding FG, The Simpsons and FOP. New shows come and go so fast recently that it's almost hard to pin down anything less then 15 years old for this kind of topic, or to be particularly upset about a non terrible/offensive...
George R. R Martin, famed serial killer..Erm..Writer of the Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) books.
I didn't see this, but now I guess I will, what on earth. I guess it's a good way to make sure there are no more of these terrible movies. Timmy would probably be a worse fairy than Cosmo...
I think a lot of the "joke" with LSP is that we know she's wrong all the time, but you humor her and sympathize anyway. Marceline just wanted to start some trouble, so she really wasn't going to moralize about it, and even PB has a mean streak (all the princesses do, really. I enjoy the AT...
Doubtful. Even in the most liberal version of this situation it's probably a matter of usage ( "What the *insert F-bomb*" vs "They're going to *insert F-bomb*")
I thought it was weird that Rigby admitted to wanting to date and thinking he wasn't attractive enough for it, while having all of these "friend plans" with Eileen lately. He's also becoming less stupid, lazy, and purposefully malicious. I can't imagine them not having a "get it together and date...
Looks like Nick is content to let Korra quietly exist for it's older audiences without much promo, which isn't surprising. What is surprising is that they're actually saying that Sam & Cat is ending. I haven't seen Ariana or Jennette mention the show or promo its ending on twitter either, so I...
Fair enough. Marcy isn't much of a "Queen" by that criteria (even though she's quite capable and I kind of want to see her doing cool Nightosphere stuff) but she doesn't go around demanding everyone worship the ground she walk on either. I'm also not LSP's biggest fan either so I never minded...
I feel like Nick's advertising always gets more annoying around the summer months. They're the main offender with the "ADHD comedy" type of stuff, even ahead of Adult Swim most days. Like an old relic of the "Kids rule" days on steroids.
That dub is never going to see the light of day again outside of file sharing and whatever out of print for years DVDs are still floating around. Not that I'd really want it to at this point (even, or especially as a Sailor moon fan) I think The Hub would be a good outlet for the new Viz dub...
Eh, the whole thing didn't really blow up until hours before air. Next week is when we'll maaaybe (probably not) see his name taken off of something. I have noticed that the Hug Force marketing campaign has lost some very considerable steam though.
It's interesting that a Japanese manga artist decided to kill off every race but western europeans (and of course, the lone half Japanese girl) hahaha..ha.ha?
This episode isn't about "shipping" it's about coming of age. A lot of the hated relationship episodes are. They're mostly just extended metaphors.
This was a weird one, I liked it a lot
Honestly, I find RC to be really inconsistent though always imaginative). Maybe it's my sense of humor but it is alway hit or miss for me, though I think keeping it at the TV-14 episodes will help with trying to get laughs out of pure vulgarity. I was hoping an older original would take the spot...
Possible. Environmentalism is cool for sure right now. It's nice to see non-Rugrats Klasky Cuspo shows being thrown a bone on the main channel. I'd love to see one of the As Told By Ginger specials turn up again.
I also only saw it once during the summer and not since. I suppose the episode is sort of risque as far as humor/stereotypes go, though I haven't heard any specific complaints about it
Halloween falling in the middle of this week and having both last weekend and this weekend as designated party time for the target demo sounds like a better excuse for a drop, if we want to make one :p
Says everyone ever since 1995.
This is a series upgrade from series Shinji too. I respect that he's supposed to be insufferably indecisive while everyone around him is making hard live ruining choices and is in an unbearable position but..Maybe if he yelled a little less.
This scene has always been really powerful, but then it feels like the impact is taken away by the outcome. However, I agreed with the decision to replace Toji with Asuka. They're a lot less close in the first two films and it wouldn't have as much impact as in the series. I do think that Shinji...
Eh, pop music does what pop music does. I believe Nick had an ad that parodied that song, a kid's movie this summer used it in a trailer, it was even on the last Kidz bop. They just replace the S- with stuff and B- with "girl" or something and it's nothing more than a sassy girl power anthem...
Last week was also one of the first weeks of colleges being back in session, which may translate to an overall drop from 18-25s having things to do on Saturdays/being away from the box that allows their ratings to count/etc
I haven't seen any. As said, Swindle, Rabbids, BTR video seems to be it for internal marketing. I have no idea why they're so slack when it comes to marketing Korra properly.
If anything, they're a reflection of PB at her worst. Insane, power hungry, controlling and sociopathic. I think they always go for some sort of "the child displays a more intense version of the traits of the parent" with all of her "creations"
