This article is theoretical and opinionated, as for this deal I feel like we all have an opinion about it and every M&A there's always a good and bad. In this case the good here is that Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. could have more IPs under their belt because they hit a dry spell within the 2010s.
I remember doing this sometime ago and being told that it was impossible and now Bloomberg is singing the same tune so to speak. Nickelodeon Could Be Up For Sale As Paramount And Warner Bros. Discovery Await Approval From European Regulators...
Pair Of Kings premieres on DC Africa June 2026 On Disney Channel And Disney Junior Across Africa | Channel Premiere: Dragon Striker | Returning Shows: Iron Man And His Amazing Friends | More
I think the image you used needs to be edited maybe add some shading to it. Another option would be changing the background colour of your posts the current one looks grayish try white but it's not my site, I do however like the header and background image.
Canal+ is working on its Showmax replacement service in MultiChoice countries Canal+ Has Begun Developing Its Showmax Replacement Service In MultiChoice Markets
I don't want to go offbase but think of what Paramount may soon have with Cartoonito (TLC) and Nick Jr. (Real Time), both are preschool based in a way. But while one has originals like Paw Patrol and Dora the other relies mainly on third party content like Masha And The Bear and Mr. Bean. I mean...
I wonder if we'll soon be getting a Cartoonito Global Unlimited soon considering the Paramount buyout and I don't know I feel like there's going to be some restructuring and Nick Jr. will somehow benefit from all this.
With Canal+ looking to rebrand the FilmBox channels with a "+" symbol I do wonder if M-Net's local channels like KykNET and Mzansi Magic will be getting the "+" identifier I mean it's not like the trademarks are being retired anyways of course I'm not sure about M-Net as it's basically Canal+...
WBD could always look to go ahead with a proposed spin-off although the value in shares would plummet shareholders would probably still make as much from the deal as they would Paramount.
The problem part for me is that a large chunk of the channel is still Boomerang I mean WBD was trying to do something different when launching Cartoonito I was expecting maybe 30% Boomerang instead of 50%-80%
Baby Lemmings launches 25 May on Cartoonito Africa May 2026 On Cartoon Network And Cartoonito Across Africa | Channel Premiere: Baby Lemmings | Returning Shows: Pokémon - Ultimate Journeys | More
CN Africa will be doing a Supermom stunt next month May 2026 On Cartoon Network And Cartoonito Across Africa | Channel Premiere: Baby Lemmings | Returning Shows: Pokémon - Ultimate Journeys | More
I mean they killed off their regional programming on MTV Africa presuming I can still call it that cause unlike Nicktoons there's nothing local about it maybe it's like what's going on with Comedy Central international variants
Cartoonito CEE airing reruns as premieres now that's kind of depressing I must just wait for them to announce Tiny Toons Looniversity. And you're right about not being a done deal but the problem here do regulators even care about the public's opinion I've seen a number of transactions to go...
All I know is there is an overlap between Boomerang and Cartoonito and they'll likely address that. And I'm also aware about Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon then again their content appealed different audiences.
I have a feeling that Cartoonito will revert back to Boomerang if Paramount acquires WBD. I mean I don't think they'll keep two preschool brands besides Cartoonito rollout in the US was a disaster anyways.
Just wait for Paramount Skydance to slim down this lineup as Cartoon Network has too many Jade Armor, Submarine Jim and Lana Longbeard. Then there's those other shows like Pokémon and Ninjago.
Nickelodeon International will also be airing Sonic Prime can't say I'm shocked Nickelodeon's International Feeds Will Begin Airing The Hit CG-Animated Adventure Series, "Sonic Prime"
The Loud House will be airing on Nicktoons Africa in June following it's return to the rest of Africa on Nickelodeon I presume it will be the censored version.

My pay-tv provider went through a buyout process and didn't get this much heat. I think a petition would have gone around for Netflix but a lot of people were expecting for it to fail.
