I wish MeTV would add more animated content. The Flintstones is a nice start but adding a few more especially for Saturday mornings like maybe the Jetsons, Smurfs & Scooby-Doo wouldn't hurt. If they could afford such that is.
Though with the Boomerang and HBO Max Streaming services being...
I like the Ben 10 Reboot. But I come in as someone who never cared for the original or its spin-offs, so hey, to each their own.
As for PPG, I liked a few of the early eps ok, but then just lost interest. It just....isn't very good IMHO.
That said the bashing of reboots of things is so...
pretty sparse month it seems, hopefully March will be better. Still looking forward to Thundercats Roar's premier at the end of the month at the very least. And more Apple and onion is always nice.
I think Netflix is the best bet for them right now. I could also see them possibly throwing some content on Hulu, HBO-MAX & Disney+ down the line as well. As for regular TV just stick with DiscFam and CN I guess.
I'm more concerned who if anyone will release their DVDs in the future. Shout...
I never trust TRAFON or most cartoon community rumor/fear mongers TBQH. So hopefully a second season will still come if S1 does well like with Apple & Onion.
Also I imagine the Theme song just isn't in the piolite Probably come back with the rest of the series. Personally I liked the energy...
I really enjoyed the first two episodes. Basically an abridged version of the OG series. Also love the energy in the animation, has a lot of the same vibes things like Adventure Time, OK KO & Mao Mao had/have. Will be looking forward to watching more when it premiers proper in February!
I really loved season 2 of Infinity Train! I'm glad M.T. er Lake finally got her freedom and I just want her & Jesse to be happy together! I really hope we get a Book 3 to further explore the mysteries of the train as well and maybe an epilouge down the line to show us what Tulip, Lake and...
There's some contradictions in this post that make me feel you didn't learn much from the show. Only in it for the brony stuff and not gonna watch Gen5 because you're the wrong gender? These are very contradictory things to say. Like just say you aren't interested or are too uncomfortable to...
I agree Star Had poor execution, ecspecially in its latter half, but good sir &/or madame I must say thee is 1000% wrong about SU!
Anywho my vote goes to Transformers G1 as well. Iconic Designs for characters aside, the writing for most of the series is pretty atrocious!
Not meant to be an insult. Just stating its not something that will ever actually be brought up in either the show or the comic and that again technically all cartoon characters are immortal as they are just ideas, so as long as there are people to write about them, they exist.
I personally think YouTube is a steaming garbage fire (like most places online really) But yes it would be nice to see the few toon tubers promote more then just their 2-3 favorite shows. We all have our faves mind you. But never hurts to expand your horizons so to speak.
I'm still hoping we get a comic or at least a mini-series for Equestria Girls eventually some time next year. But yeah hard agree.
Also love the part of the trailer where Sunset just picks-up Pinkie and starts carrying her off during the snowball fight. ( Don't mess with Sunse't GF XD ) Also...
Yeah it's a dumb fear. They're cartoon characters. All cartoon characters are immortal as long as people are around to write stories about em!
Plus As said they full o dat good friendship magic!
OK, big word dump... My Thought
The Negative First!
-Poor Cozy Glow.
I Love Cozy but I HATE How Poorly the show handled her! She was never truely a character. Just a trope, a cliche for subversion of expectations, she never had a backstory no reason given for why she was the way she was, and...
The whole concept of a dark/golden age is personal & preferencal.
Yes I'd say content wise we've been in a Golden age since April 2010. That hasn't changed. Shows end, new shows take their place like Always. I for one love Craig of The Creek, Mao-Mao, Summercamp Island, etc. As much as I...
Couldn't Disagree more. (Also if we're talking quantity over quality anime has had that in spades for a good 15 or so years now, nice background art doesn't negate generic character designs and horrible writing!) Marvel's problem is solely Disney's & Marvel's to work out. *Most CN originals...
Marvel....Marvel ruined Marvel animation. Disney takes some of the blame as well, but Honestly Marvel has cared less and less about their toons over the course of the 21st century. Its sad, but its true.
Glad to see so many shows getting New eps in October! Lots of fun stuff to watch between CN & AS!
Though guess we'll have to wait till November for Thundercats ROAR!'s Premier after all.
Oh well still plenty to look forward to! I am happy with this schedule!
Most of "Anime's Growing Popularity" is with Teens and adults has been since the mid 2000's (also didn't the industry have a bubble pop in the late 00's that caused some companies like Geneon to completely shut-down? Not to mention all the uber-creepy weeb-centric content pumped out the past...
Come Here To Talk About CN's New Series Power Players!
So what did you think of the premire. Personally I Was actually low key impressed, for a TV CG Toon, the animation was pretty darn fluid and the backgrounds for the most part had pretty nice/good details, plus the characters movements and...
This. I mean if you're just gonna point out how a show aimed at a preschool audience is too dumb for you....maybe just....don't watch it.
Personally I still think it's cute/fun. But i'm not expecting more then what was advertised going in.
Well going from the spoilers people are, posting everywhere online seems more like a 20 years later kinda thing and Twi and her friends help a friendship student via there past experiences
They're Cartoon characters, Ergo they're immortal, fiction is eternal as long as there's people to tell stories. (or they die, when we the human race finally die out, and even then who's to say if there's life elsewhere they won't find our silly little stories some day)
Also, Granny Smith is...
They aren't really anime inspired so much as they are just diverse & colorful. And yeah a lot of 80's cartoons have aged extremely poorly, can't blame people for criticizing them.
Anywho the new character designs are to, you know make them actually look like teenagers instead of anorexic 40...
Seasons 1-3 will be getting a DVD release on November 5th 2019!
My guess is this is in part to get people hyped for the next batch of episodes that will most likely come in December.
Saw Scooby Doo: Return to Zombie Island at Wal-Mart the other day and thought why not! Haven't watched it yet, but deff gonna check it out this weekend! :)
I noticed in parts during the final fight scene/song there were parts she sounded a bit like Tulip from Infinite Train. But yeah, totally different VA I believe. Sarah Stiles had Great Range! Really made Spinel's voice fit the tone and afflection it needed for each scene!
Have The Jetsons pre-ordered, might get Popeye & Silverhawks if I can swing it.
Mostly focusing on comics and games this month though most likely!
Looking forward to Teen Titans GO! VS Teen Titans! and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines in October though!
Very Glad Cyberverse is back! Also always nice to see more Mao Mao!
Loved the SU Movie! Wish we could get a premier date for Thundercats ROAR! Already though!
