Nothing against Charlie Brown specials nor any other holiday TV fixture for that matter, but I feel is a mistake for TV channels to keep airing ALL years the very same content at the very same time. At best, the only thing it causes when they want to make a change is people to riot all over the...
Although I despised Cartoon Network veering into live-action as anyone else, I genuinely enjoyed the «Re-animated» TV film. Hardly a masterpiece, but I liked a lot its absurd elements and don't get at all why people says that its «lack of logic» is a flaw. BTW, I only seen it in dubbed in Latin...
As awkward (and irresponsible) the final film sounds, the more I read of how it was made makes me wish someone to make a meta-documentary about how *this* documentary came to be, which probably would be fascinating to watch.

In my mind somehow I was thinking they were only going to use like a literal one-second of footage of the John K. interview just to piss him off, but that's may be too optimistic.
Even before the news came out, I got the idea that the film was going to be too sugar-coated and somewhat tone-deaf given what we already knew about the show production and even the show itself alone. Kind of treating it as if it was an official sanctioned Disney documentary. It was going to...
Thad Komorovski said that Bob Clampett family hated John K. for his version of "Beany and Cecil".
Somewhat related to that, a former John K. co-worker said he once went to the house of his idol Ed Benedict (character designer of the early '60 Hanna-Barbera output) to record his reaction while...
I through that too, but he just changed the username changing the word "studios" to "human". I know he was trying to build a new studio and was fired the day the news raised. https://www.instagram.com/johnk_human/
I'm skeptical that they're really going to do something to be in line with current sensibilities. For a while now, both the Simpsons and Family Guy have made many clickbait announcements but in practice just end trolling the audience (The contest for the new character that they ended up killing...
His Twitter and Facebook page accounts were gone days before the article came up, through. The Instagram is still up, but sans updates since.
An out-of-context 2014 message from his former FB page I like to see for some reason:
The "Bizarro Santa" animation in "Girl hair" (stands out as being straight-ahead fully-animated and never re-used): (clip from C. Martin Croker portfolio YouTube channel)
No, the first 3 seasons (non HD originally) were sent "enlarged" to HD, but pillarboxed in 4:3. I believe CN is reluctant with these eps. as they currently don't buy non-HD stuff.
I have no idea about how CN schedules it. Currently the show is only airing on a single feed (the one that also airs on Chile), but I think that they have to air it to the rest of Latin America sooner of later as it was dubbed on Portuguese in Brazil, too. No idea when they are going to air the...
Question: Anyone knows where I can find a transcription (either japanese characters, romanized or translated) of the japanese written credits of the ending theme song of an anime series? Any series is useful, buy a well-known one may be better. I only can find *american* english credits; the...
PSA videos I uploaded from the very early years. Both in Spanish, yet they both originated in the USA feed.

A short version of a PSA regarding helping the ASIFA-Hollywood for film preservation. I think I have the full version somewere but I don't...
Help with tracking Cartoon Network ads
Hi. I have been maintaining the "Cartoon Network Ads" Tumblr for about 3 years (just for fun), yet it has been increasingly hard to keep posting "new" stuff to it, for various reasons, but mainly for job. Some months ago I lowered the post-rate to 17 posts...
It seems that it is a 8 minute short coproduced with Spain and China (perhaps intented for the foreing market, much in the vein of "Johnny goes to Bollywood" I guess). Some more info there: http://www.filmfestivalarizona.com/.../2014-AIFF-catalog...
(the relevant paragraph):
"The Fog of...
Hi. I doubt anyone on the Internet would know anything about it, but whatever. Down here in Latin America in 1998 around the FIFA World Cup (held in France) CN used to have a series of bumpers featuring a Soccer team made of their characters and highlighting each one role, using both stock...
Although I haven't been much of a fan of the show as for now, I have been reading a lot the blog lately and I have found it very interesting. I have some weird memories for it as I used to like a lot of their stuff despite various of the skits being very bland. I believe someone should pull a...
I'm looking referents for a job. Do you know official websites of any franchise (TV shows mainly, but it can be other stuff) that features expanded info about the universe of the show? By now a number of shows features "character blogs", mainly in the form of a Twitter account; or a few...
I remember some months ago I found an old newspaper article that described the event, but I can't find it right now. However, I found a related comment at YouTube from someone that worked on some old interstitials:
Did you saw it on my Tumblr? (shameless plug). The post do mention the source with more info at the Van Partible (Johnny Bravo creator) site.
Only posted photo of the launch (featuring Ted Turner):
Another unreuploadeable photo featuring more promotional art...
These indeed aired on Latin Amerca, yet were done originally for an European branding (I believe between 2001 and 2006 as RandomMe says above). A selection appears on the page of the production company, Ink Apache: REFACE “CASILLAS” | Ink Apache
You can see more of these bumpers (not sure about a good name to refer to those in English, albeit the production company calls them with the Spanish "casillas" (boxes, cubicles)) at the site of the production company Ink Apache: REFACE “CASILLAS” | Ink Apache. Their Vimeo account features many...
I have to fill some product details on an enterprising Amazon-like site. On DVD sets composed of multiple discs, Do you think is necessary to "split" the content that each disc contains or only group it for content (like a list for "episodes" and other for "extras") is enough?.
Hook Up Animation Studios (Argentina) posted on their Facebook page an storyboard of an unproduced promo featuring Larry King and Bugs Bunny: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.541944345862622.1073741833.360550470668678&type=1
The odd thing (but perhaps not so much) is that it seems to have been on the page since 2006. Is very baffling the site is being overly referenced while still being overly inaccurate.
They get "Toonix-ed" in Latin America during that branding (2010-2012), yet I don't remember any commercial break bumpers with them (there definetively were for Regular Show, Sym-bionic Titan and Gumball, though)

Cartoon Network Studios sales video featuring interviews with several of their current creators, footage from upcoming series (“Uncle Grandpa”, “Steven Universe” and “Clarence”) and pilots.
I don't have the VHS I had right now, but I captured the intro and bumpers for "Bugs and Daffy Tonight" and "Toonheads", along some asorted promos. Almost all of these are in Spanish as they are from the Latin American feed.
Uncannily, someone else uploaded the "Late Night Black & White" intro...
