The new wand ID's for Wizards beyond Waverly Place with the new logo:
Pretty good in my opinion despite the fact that they deleted the "ears" from the logo.
Yeah, it will definitely be interesting to see what they come up with, and if this is something that will be adopted internationally (which I doubt though, specially not in Europe).
I've secretly been here all along reading through the threads. ;)
I really appreciate all the good stuff you guys...

Is there a rebrand coming soon? The logo looks different, without...
Yeah I remember this, and a couple of months later (in May 2012) DC Scandinavia finally switched to widescreen:
I'm still a little upset though after all these years that DC Scandinavia never adopted the US look which almost every European feed did back in 2012...
I really like the new branding, much better than the older one. Even if I've always preferred the US branding, this one works really well (at least with text on promos/idents). Hopefully it'll look as good on the Scandinavian feed.
I would not have guessed that this was an official ident coming from Disney Channel UK, wow...
I never really understood why there was/is a need for the different EMEA feeds (such as DC UK or Scandinavia) to always create a different version of the idents or graphics coming from the US. I...
Hey guys
Yep I'm still alive! :)
Though I'm not as active as I was before, I still do read this thread from time to time. I really appreciate all of your contribution here. Even if I don't watch DC as much as before (I feel it's been going downhill since like 2017, I'm probably not the only one...
Interesting, so they have returned to using the MTOTFLS banner again on promos? Or was it just for that specific promo? I remember that they started writing the weekdays in all three languages instead (similar to CN Nordic) about 1-2 yrs ago.
I don't know if this has already been mentioned here but apparently the Swedish Nickelodeon feed has closed down. All promos and idents are completely text-free similar to Nickelodeon CEE. Anyone who knows what has really happened? Have they merged the Scandinavian feeds into a single one? It's...
Surprisingly, TLC Sweden rebranded today using the current US look (or a version of it) and therefore they have gone back to the 'older' logo.
Personally I like this rebrand better, however the DOG is just too big. Will see if I can post some pictures later.
No sorry, I was hoping someone did re upload it (as some of my videos used to be) but I couldn't find any on Youtube.
Well I have always preferred the US feed when it comes to Disney Channel in particular as I felt that their presentation was more in a "teen-channel-ish" way while the European...
Thank you! :) Well the reason was mostly that I didn't really have time anymore due to my studies etc.
Off: I contacted a promo producer at DC Nordic and asked her wether she knew if there are any plans to switch to the US graphics, this was the response I received:
Well one can always...
I sadly don't have access to DXD Nordic anymore since the online tv provider (Magine TV) that I was using closed down a year ago. I wouldn't be surprised though if promos and such would be textless (the only exception could be the Reklam/reklame/reklamer ad bumpers).
Hopefully someone...
That's definitely some improvements, and shows that they've started to care more about the feed! :) I really like the 2018 bug, wish DC Scandinavia would care more about that kind of stuff..
I think they are very nice and it's good to see that they have fully adopted the Xmas look! This is definitely a step in the right direction. :)
I wish DC Nordic would use coming up next bumpers as well (but seeing that DC UK isn't using any, that won't probably happen).
Interesting to see how DC Canada has adopted the new graphics (they even made coming up next bumpers despite DC US dropping them since the rebrand):
The new website is pretty cool:

Same with DC Scandinavia, they used a lot of promos & bumpers (including the 2010 winter branding) using the "Smartphone App" logo even though they hadn't rebranded to it until 2012. I think the mishmash may have been because of DC USA, since even though they started using the "new" on-air logo...
I really hope so, I mean after all the majority of the European feeds got the 2010 US branding after using the UK look for a while (even DC UK themselves rebranded to the US look eventually).
Though CN Nordic didn't rebrand on Friday, I saw this interesting ECP for the first time:
Never seen it before on CN Nordic (not saying this was the first time of it being used but it is definitely not used regularly :D )
Indeed, Kanal 5 is one of the most important TV channels here. As you mentioned, the reason is that Discovery wanted to get more paid which obviously Telia, ComHem, Boxer, Bredbandsbolaget didn't like. ComHem even tried to ask Discovery if they could at least allow them to broadcast the channels...
From tomorrow (September 1st), the Discovery owned channels (such as TLC, Discovery Channel, Kanal 5..) will be shut down through ComHem (one of the biggest TV providers in Sweden) and BOXER because of a dispute between the parties. This is getting ridiculous now, as Discover Networks has been...
I've always wondered this. But do they use After Effects "on-air"? For example I know that graphics (such us coming up bugs etc) are usually created / designed in After Effects, but do they also get aired using the software?
For example in the DC CEE error, we could see the Adobe message...
Disney Channel in Sweden shares 0,5% along with Nick Jr. (surprisingly) and some other channels while Nickelodeon got 0,4% last year:

They will probably rebrand all together (i.e not use some elements of the new look before the rebrand itself). Last time DC Asia rebranded, it happened in August so there's a big chance it might rebrand next month! :)
