Fun fact: It technically could be seen on TV from within the U.S., in French and if you lived somewhere that got Radio-Canada (and I don't just mean by the border, it used to be available on cable throughout New England). Of course, no American channel picked it up.
If networks in the US hadn’t been afraid to air it, it probably would’ve ended up on The Hub or something. Nowadays, I could see the show getting some sort of cult following (more than it already has) on Netflix.
