I would agree, but there have been sequels with '3' in the title (or equivalent thereof) that have been great. Also, I really want a 3rd Inside Out.

My feeling is that if a studio revisits a movie franchise more than twice, they should just turn it into a TV series at that point.

Where does Transformers One fall on this policy?

Transformers One is a prequel, so that's kind of it's own thing.

Star Wars, Velma, and just about anything that deviates from the source material in the laziest way possible. Some are going to disagree with how gender flips and ethnicity swapping are done as a checkbox / inclusion standard in addition to subpar writing. I do feel the writing quality is sacrificed to push one sided messages that alienate global appeal.

What does gender flipping have to do WB and Pepe LePew? Star Wars is owned by Disney, not WB. Gender flipping is only a problem with people who breathe through their mouths. You don't want to be part of that crowd.
