I won't name names, but a few still have huge followings to this day, and I have personal dirt on another one. Loved the show, still have some sentimental memories of it, but it's probably the worst fandom I've ever involved myself in. Nowadays, I carefully choose a small number of fans of things I like to interact with and ignore everyone else. I find that works so much better.

But yeah, the brony fandom are sure....an interesting folks, for a lack of better word.

All I'm gonna say is that I lived through the good times and mostly the bad times of the fandom as a teen, and yeah, that's a wild time I am not coming back to.

And also, hearing about these degenerates doing all these disgusting things makes me sick to my stomach, and I just wanna clean hands and want nothing to do with the show nor the fandom altogether.

The fact that one of the degenerates are trying to make a comeback is a major red flag for me. Like, no, GTFOH!

Every fanbase has its lunatic fringe. We should only judge the individuals and not the fandom itself. Just because one member of a fanbase turns out to be a creep, we shouldn't assume that all of said fans are tike this.
