I get what they were going for with the human villains, but I don't think it's surprising that the show ultimately became more oriented around Autobots vs. Decepticons per franchise standard.

I think you have a great point there with the Burns family. It could've just been a normal rescue show or without sentient robots and they still would've been a very likeable and compelling cast.

I think Frankie was great take on the whole "smart best friend" concept that is pretty typical these days.

Even the villains were pretty fun in their own right, from Morocco, Pynch, etc.
