My Adventures With Superman "Season Three" Talkback (Spoilers)

"Mobile Suit Toyman" - Though the premiere was fine honestly I much prefer these either more goofy or having action scene with more recognized kind of villain episodes as I did get into this one. You know I could complain that the idea of Jimmy feeling insecure about wanting to be with Kara does feel a bit repetitive considering we just had that arc last season with Lois feeling that way about Clark, but I think the angle of him recognizing "she finally has the chance to be open and pick anyone in this world it wouldn't be fair if it was me just because I was the first person nice to her." And I do like how he actually did explain it to her and she actually did decide "yeah okay let me meet more people" so though it did lead to Jimmy being jealous it was in a fun way. I do wish I wasn't spoiled ahead of time about Jessica Cruz's appearance in this episode since that probably would have landed better if I didn't know it was coming but this worked as a blink and you'll miss it cameo that may lead into her own series which yeah was announced but now is still in the works so who knows where all of that is going but still cute to see here. And though a fair amount of obvious sort of comic jokes I do like the references to the actual old school comic books My Pal Jimmy Olsen and Superman's Girlfriend Lois lane (and hey if Lois is mad about being portrayed as a villain she should see how messed up those actual old school books could get) and also amusing jokes from Cat Grant hogging all the questions and trying to ask a bunch of wonky/obvious ones for Kara as well as how desperate Lois was to try and get something out of Toy man but actually riling him into revealing he was working on a weapon which... yeah obviously that was Gundam inspired. Like okay the transformations are Sailor Moon, Kara had an Android 18 cosplay last season now we have a Gundam here so that's the house trick but like to get a full Toonami old school bingo we'll need like some Ronin Warriors armor or maybe someone performing a Naruto run.

I guess if I were also to complain the actual battle stuff wasn't anything that impressive. Which makes sense for easily demolishing the goons in the beginning showing off Superman and Supergirl's working together (her wanting a high five and sort of forcing it later is another good gag) and I do like the Power Whip lady (I know she had more of a name I forgot what it was) had the speil about wanting to sell her services to make the most money and asking Superman if he even got paid which he didn't and feeling bad for him but... yeah that was a rather lacking fight. I mean I guess comedy wish it was fine but like if the whole thing was Clark noticing something about how she used her Kryptonie bands i wished he at least used more ingenuinity then just waiting for them to run out of batteries like that. I do like Hank Henshaw appearing as Lex's Cyborg Superman aka "human" Superman protector to take out the Toyman mecha and get attention on Lex and yeah obviously this will lead to more of a Cyborg Superman vs Superman fight in the future but only showing that cyberizing at the end with it otherwise being hidden did work plus seeing how annoyed Hank is about Superman works at setting the motivation here.

So yeah good episode giving more about what I like about this show as the comedy is on point... i guess the fighting not as much but eh we'll get more epic scale battles in the future what was here worked well enough.

"Mobile Suit Toyman" was a pretty crowded episode overall, but still each plot was handled well enough. Kara's introduction to the world could have gone better. I liked Jessica Cruz' brief appearance, how she was inspired by Supergirl, and her little speech was also what Kara needed to hear then. Sort of similar to Caliban (who was also present at Super Convention) being inspired by Superman in the previous episode. Good stuff. Hope to see more of Jessica whenever her Green Lantern spin-off comes out.

Kara & Jimmy kind of breaking up was appropriately dramatic though I still think they will be a couple by the end of the season. Could be wrong but I also don't see Kara ending up with any of the substitute Jimmys who appeared here. It makes sense more would want to woo Kara though and now they had an opportunity. Including a Muscle Jimmy (though he already had a boyfriend) who I imagine might have been a nod to Mechad Brooks who played Jimmy on the CBS/CW Supergirl series.

Superman's plot of fighting the Whip was kind of fun. I mean the villainess was fun, with her constantly talking, thinking Superman gets paid, and commenting how easy Kryptonite can be found. I presume we haven't seen the last of her, either. On the other hand Cat Grant annoyed me more than anything in this episode but I think that was the point. She was annoying the other characters too.

Lois being paranoid and following Toyman around was entertaining enough. And she managed to make him angry enough to unleash a giant mecha he just happened to have around. I was expecting a bigger fight scene but Hank Henshaw made it quick. So technically he made his debut at Super Convention, too. A nice start to the Reign of the Supermen.

There were lots of other neat moments, like the Teen Titans cosplayers. Beast Boy, Raven & Starfire. Not sure if there's an actual team in this universe or it's another TV series like the Challengers of the Unknown. Victor Stone was brought up last season but I don't think he'll be Cyborg for a while. Also, fun homages to the Superman's Pal comics, with edited covers here to make it seem like Jimmy was the hero. Plus, the signal watch, Supergirl high fives, "Power Woman", and Clark being distracted by a miniature tractor instead of following Lois. Speaking of which, the end credits scene was kind of cute, but not as fun as the one from last week. Still, it seems these will be used in future episodes too, so that's something else to look forward to.

Blink or miss but that lousy driver had an AmazoTech phone. That woman was in Heatwave's crew and goes deer in headlights, lol. Kara high fived herself!

And then gets a job at SuperFest! I guess she got out on bail fast and needed a legit gig !

Ah, Superfest is a convention. Nice wink Kara prefers "Power Woman" which I believed was used in Kingdom Come by Power Girl. Heh heh, Clark just wanted to be Clark but of course fate refuses to grant that wish. And Kara's heart gets hurt but a lone voice in the crowd props her back up. A voice that turns out to be that of Jessica Cruz. Clever. She's a Supergirl fan who wishes she was as brave as her idol. Nice character set up. Voiced by Auli'i Cravalho, voice of Moana. Curious to see if this appearance continues right into her show or there's a time skip where she's a little older.

We also see what I assume was her family because I'm guessing that was her Abuela and dad next to her while her mom was sitting next to the Abuela? They all seemed to be there for her .

Welp, turns out it was Winslow Schott after all. But after all that effort Lois went through to out him, he was just fodder for Cyborg Superman. But I like the parallelism. Lois saw through the deception of Winslow's innocent looking toy stand and a dangerous weapon was revealed. Lex presents his own Earth-made superhero. If you know Cyborg Superman from the comics, fair to reason we'll see he's no hero and the facade hides a dangerous threat to everyone.

Honestly I still don't think Winslow was really planning to do anything bad until Lois basically harassed him into acting out because she couldn't fully put aside her own biases. I mean, why would he have an armed Mecha at the ready at a convention? Have you seen how dangerous this city gets? He never even did anything but stand around with it before Cyborg-Superman went after him

Maybe it was karma that Lois believing the worst of someone she had a bad experience with then ended up with her seeing a close friend get turned to the side of evil .

The Whip was super random. The only female villain one was an Azrael villain in the comics but doesn't seem 1:1 and this one is wholly new. Brushing aside how a game of attrition is all it took to deplete the battery, the more interesting note is she got the Kryptonite from the robots during the invasion and she mentions Kryptonite is easy to get. So the government didn't round it all up in time and what this means for crime in Metropolis moving forward and adapting to the Supers, a big hmm.

Her vibe reminded me of La Encantadora from the comics .

I do wish they were able to write fight scenes between Superman and human tech villains that doesn't involve him getting beat up during the fight until the plot kind of hands him the win .

Incidentally, I saw Supergirl today. It was pretty good.

Oh yeah, everyone wants to use a match-making service called "W.O.R.M.S."

Someone's biological clock is ticking, and it ain't Lois's.

W.O.R.M.S. sounds like a dating service for dogs. Desperate dogs.

Still a better dating profile than Charlie Kelly.

I can't help but think that Gigi has a hidden agenda.

Uh, Jimmy, your hands looks a little...

Protecting civilians from villains, and protecting villains from the REAL villain.

Giganta, I can assure you there are many other nerdy guys who would be WAY into the giant woman thing.

And suddenly, The Future!

Well, this certainly makes things more interesting.

Ah, funny spin on all's fair in love and war. Cyborg Superman justifies his extreme stance against crime because he now has power which he views as a ticket to do what he wants without recrimination. Jimmy uses W.O.R.M.S. to make Kara jealous while Kara thinks if she has more dates that Jimmy, she wins his love so Lois decides to help her. But we have Superman who doesn't compromise his ethics.

Ha ha, the MAWS version of W.O.R.M.S. is a dating company run by a non-alien take on Queen Bee and her sister from the comics who are unrelated here and dating on and off. What a coincidence "love" is in the last name of Zazzala's voice actor, Chandler Lovelle. How fortuitous this came about just as Jimmy fumbled it with Supergirl. Hiding behind Flamebird, it tracks Lois would immediately know he was using it to get back at Kara and try to make her jealous. Even funnier he was blowing off Perry's assignment that ends up becoming a part of and then Lois decides to help Kara win this "stupid game," lmao. Loved the Lois crazy faces in reaction to the mini farm set up.

I loved that Kara immediately thought it was a game and vowed to win it. And discovered chili dogs. It was funny Lois was just as much of a glutton for punishment as Jimmy, trying to set up Kara's dating profile and show her Earth culture. But nice shout out to Kryptonian martial arts from the comics: Klurkor is the Kryptonian version of karate and Horu-Kanu is a deadly art focused on pressure points not unlike kung fu moves like dim mak. Ha ha, the mall. Very interesting Black Canary is a rock pop singer like in DC Super Hero Girls and here has been at it since Lois was a teenager. You kind of forget Kara isn't that naive and loved how she turned things onto Lois in the record store. And wow, a musical segment. Lois wants to be in the present but the future is happening too fast for her liking. I'm glad we continue to see progress with Lois. Instead of holding it in all season, she shares her feelings with Clark so they're on the same page, take it slower, and plan the future together. But wha, a GL ring in a jewelry store?

And naturally, there's no such thing as a day off for Clark. Neat, that's how he met the dog that's seemingly going to be this show's Krypto. A government ID? Nice try, lady. I guess Lois or Jimmy will end up adopting him. I guess Clark could but if they're savvy at all, that could compromise his secret identity. Loved the writing with the anchor's lines. No dogs are in danger. Clark is relieved. Anchor says nearby civilians are in danger though. lmao.

It was so lol that even the W.O.R.M.S. crew thought Jimmy was super oblivious that Doris was suss. Even though she asked about Kryptonite, going into space in season 2, and traveling the multiverse in season 1 THEN asking him to tell her about himself. The werewolf was a fun homage to Superman's Pal #44. Jimmy, Jimmy. Never tell a jilted suitor you want to just be friends. Loved the solve was what initially harmed Jimmy. And Jimmy was lured back with a paid sponsorship. Tazzala dropping him when he says he's off the apps then picks him back up when he agrees to the deal. Fun romcom story. Great contrast with the other story.

If Doris managed to go unidentified by victims and sign up for matchmaking, it seems this was her debut as Giganta. While this wasn't the first time a non-Superman character has popped up and yeah, they could've found a Superman villain but in the long run, this could help further seed this show's universe. Lord willing if we get a My Adventures with Wonder Woman show, we got Giganta already set up.

On the other side of the coin, we're getting further evidence of Hank using way excessive force without a care in the world. Tossing a purse thief into a light pole that hard? Chucking Mist hard into that stone planter. Punching Rough House into a hill. Attacking Superman when the incident was over. They very well and in short order, this is just episode 3, showed us that hey don't worry, this show's Hank is an unrepentant jerk lacking any empathy or restraint and has an ideology of might makes right. The reveal of his cyborg nature was a great parallel of his nature being revealed to the public at large. Woof, Slade cannot catch a break anymore on this show. Anyone want to take bets Lex's failsafe won't last long?

But OOOO, man, we got a Jon Kent Superboy from the future who dresses like the Kon-El Superboy! So it seems we got an apocalypse future that Superboy needs to fix much like Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Z or Superman X in Legion of Superheroes. Brushing aside how Lex made a time travel watch, this is gonna get interesting. Out of control Lex Drones. Hmm. Cyborg Superman revolts methinks and assimilates the drones to his control. I mean, technopathy ability? Probably. Instant army. Lex, Lex. Never just have one failsafe. And Superboy has to take down Cyborg Superman before it's too late in order to change the future. But then that will probably get into the rules of time travel. If they win, will Jon just blip out of existence? Is it that set in stone Clark and Lois will have a child? Or will they knowing they have a son in a possible future that's being overwritten as they speak? So if the credits call him Jon Kent, he's going to be Clark and Lois' son. So much for taking it slow. More stress here we come, lol.

Yes, obviously speed dating with scientific accuracy is the best way to handle the Kara speed dating problem! Make her jealous, brilliant!

Clark and Lois are both handling their expectations for their relationship differently, but that is an adorable diorama Clark and Lois.

"Captain Hank Henshaw" is supposed to be Cyborg-Superman but he's acting more like Eradicator towards criminals.

Obviously the fact that the spokespeople for the dating service broke up should be a warning sign...but then you see Doris in that black number and you can't resist.

Sure, she's into transforming men into whatever fetish she's into, but is that so wrong?! Wouldn't you be willing to become anything to tap that!?

So we see Amethyst the in-universe Magical Girl show AND a Black Canary cameo because the Black Canary band from the comics exists in this universe.

Of course a Girls Day Out would involve going to the mall. The musical duet about the future featuring a Supergirl fashion show (and Lois back in her season 1 outfit) was also unexpected, but fun!

We FINALLY get Jimmy transformations! Wolf boy Jimmy! Elastic Lad Jimmy!

Kara can out speed date Jimmy! Or, better yet, she can actually experience the world around her which is what Jimmy wanted in the first place. Perfect time for a Lois/Kara outing!

Clark REALLY wants Krypto.

Sometimes I feel like Clark is maybe a little TOO resistant to throw a punch but considering he's so far above the Intergang trio and needed to keep Siobhan safe from Hank, maneuvering around both of them felt warranted here.

Yeah, Lex probably doesn't want his personal Superman to vaporize someone in public. Also, they finally said Cyborg-Superman!

I'm glad we're not acting like Slade is actually a threat to a Super, but Lex has Henshaw on a tight leash. A leash he's obviously going to get free from because he's on a power kick.

Honestly, props to the WORMS. service for arresting GG and de-transforming Jimmy while working out their own relationships issues.

So her friends call her Giganta? Are these friends other Supervillains?

Honestly the armor appeared conveniently when it looked like she was about to be left topless and in leopard print panties, though the leopard leotard + armor was still nice to look at. What a fine gigantic behind!

Could Giganta have taken a punch from Superman? Maybe not, but instead we have the usual MAWS Superman flying around a baddie until someone else helps him solve the villain problem. But at least he came up with the idea for how to stop them! And has another Baddie into him. Is this going to be a thing until they introduce Maxima?

Clark and Lois are figuring out the future and lo and behold the future is coming to them as a Cyborg-controlled Metropolis sees Darren Criss' Superboy being sent back in time to stop this dark future with the help of bald Lex and Jimmy Perry who GET MURKED ON-SCREEN in the process.

Next week: Superboy interrupts date night!

"All's Fair In Love And W.O.R.M.S" - Though there are a couple of things about this episode I wasn't that big a fan of, I think overall it worked rather well. So let's talk about them.

- You know part of me does think the last couple of weeks I was giving the whole "Jimmy is trying to not commit to Kara even though he does like her" a bit too much leeway since though he was doing it for noble reasons thinking about it, also kind of feels like it's retreading Lois's own insecurity from last season. However what does make it work is not only Lois and Clark pointing out how it's his own fault, but the fact that this ISN'T being treated at least this week as like an actually serious story but more an excuse for shennigans. And honestly the shennigans with Jimmy here are fun enough to warrant it. I think in terms of just out there insanity involving "Worms" the last Rick and Morty went there better but there is a lot to like about this subplot; the two scientists who created it being in a relationship and the quiet one breaking off in the middle before getting back together and how Jimmy is trying to maintain his social branding in these little interview segments and Clark/Superman NOT agreeing to them and being censored. And though the previews did give away the whole Gigi was Giganta and alterator turning Jimmy into a wolf, her pestering him about being to space and other dimensions and then turning huge and planning on turning him big thinking it would stabilize their relationship before being deboned by the device enough to save Jimmy and in an out of it state hiting on Supes and gently pointing out he's in a commited relationship all decently amusing stuff. Nothing super laugh out loud but again I do like these just fun goof off episodes and am glad to see more from this show on that level.

- I think a good amount of the Lois and Kara plot worked. Again they aren't treating the Jimmy and Kara not being together seriously at all and I do really like Kara thinking the whole thing as a competition she wants to win just to show off to Jimmy even if she still wants him the most that's all really cute. And I also like how she doesn't a lot of earth interests and Lois trying to show her stuff but her only interested in the mall and being instantly impressed by everything in there. And the parallel to Kara's excitement for the future compared to Lois's worry was great and I am glad she did have a more serious talk with Clark about it later to come to terms but... you know the synopsis did say something about music but I'm still surprised the two had a full on duet about it. And sadly surprised in a bad way as that was not a really good song number. I mean you could tell they were trying and unlike Harley Quinn season 5 didn't bank a full episode on characters who can't really sing being forced to and that not really being good at all as at least Kara and Lois's VAs are fine but that was just not good a number. Kind of sporadic to do as well since again though this show can be kind of out there, song numbers aren't something I expect in this at all. I mean I guess they can't all be Brave and the Bold Music Meister quality and not like it's Teen Titans Go "let's say one word over and over lazy" quality either but still pretty middling.

- I do feel all the Cyborg Hanksaw Superman stuff worked really well. The actual bits of Superman hearing reports and flying in were amusing enough especially with the dog (the bit of Superman about to call his toy dog Krypto was a bit much but eh worst joke in this segment) but I do appreciate how right off the bat people are apprehensive since well they KNOW Superman and how he saves people and Hank isn't even trying to fool anyone that he's actually Superman so him being more aggressive they call out HIM for it. Even just with that robber and then with the Banshee gang where Superman goes out of the way to get the stuff stolen without trying to blow them apart compared to Henshaw which just makes the idea look bad. I do appreciate that Luthor calls Hank out on that and the fact they can't just do whatever they want and have to retain some sort of image. The fact this is a younger Luthor who is still building himself up it does make more sense he wouldn't try to be as aggresively bitter to the general public and do like he has far more sense to him and can easily lay out Henshaw fnor not following the program.

Again the actual ending of the Lois and Clark drama was good of Lois just wanting to enjoy the present and not be thinking too much of their future and I'm glad they aren't stretching it out that much. Though I guess because in our theme of having all of these different kinds of Superman or super variants with Bizarro and Cyborg Superman and Supergirl, we now have a Superboy. Who is clearly now that we saw that glimpse the kid of Clark and Lois which... yeah I should have caught guess I'm more used to Superboys who are like from alternate past timelines not like future kids. I do really like selling how horrible that future is... part of me wonders if they wanted to make a more DBZ Future Trunks or Sailor Moon Chibi-Usa reference but figured "this is supposed to be serious can't really right now" but again still sells the threat well.

So yeah song wasn't very good and a couple of jokes didn't land but overall another solid episode. I will also say the fights are kind of weak so far especially this week but eh Superman is making the effort to super de-escalate and we aren't going up against major slug outs with even Hank not up to that yet sure we'll get a bigger fight later down the line but not at that point yet which is fine.

This was fun but the stuff with Jimmy & Kara kind of annoyed me. So I don't really have a lot to comment. I agree with Lois that it was a dumb game. But the rest was pretty good. I liked seeing Lois & Kara bond more, at the mall. Including a spontaneous musical number. Meanwhile Clark upgrading the farm diorama from last week (speaking of, same end credits too, unless I missed any subtle additions in there), and Jimmy tried out a blind date.

WORMS being a romantic organization was a weird idea. The name alone doesn't sound too romantic. Also lead by Queen Bees from the comics. Though I think they were sisters instead of lovers. In a way this was reminiscent of Superman TAS with Maggie Sawyer and what many presumed was her sister, instead of her girlfriend. Also, Giganta (Gigi ). They didn't really do much with her identity as the Distortionist, that could have been brought up before. But turning Jimmy into a werewolf was kind of fun. Following up on the Superman's Pal tributes from the previous episode, he also becomes a spaghetti man for a little bit.

Superman versus Cyborg Superman was pretty cool and I imagine their next battle will be more intense. Hank is revealed as a villain, Lex still controls him for now but I doubt that will last for long.

The final scenes with the Superboy from the future were intriguing enough. It seems he'll be the future son of Clark & Lois, though I was hoping more for him to be a present day clone instead. We'll see how much is explained though. What it implies is he was sent back to the past to try and fix something, as is sometimes the case with time travel stories. I look forward to seeing more.

Other than the random musical number, I liked how the newscaster mentioned no dogs were in danger during the attack at LexCorp. Also, a nod to Krypto. Plus Hank beating up Deathstroke without any effort. And I'd like to hear a sample of Black Canary's music.

Even funnier he was blowing off Perry's assignment that ends up becoming a part of and then Lois decides to help Kara win this "stupid game," lmao. Loved the Lois crazy faces in reaction to the mini farm set up.

Honestly I was starting to suspect this whole WORMS thing was a supervillain side-hustle or the Zzz couple were secretly evil but this show hasn't met a villain they couldn't have be gay and more heroic than they usual are .

Though I guess I'm glad they tied the Giganta thing to Jimmy being on assignment because...I dunno, I know Lois was technically on assignment last episode but it feels like the main trio are barely doing Daily Planet stuff in general. Like, Clark seems to care more about marrying and settling down with Lois on a farm than actually doing any reporter stuff .

And naturally, there's no such thing as a day off for Clark. Neat, that's how he met the dog that's seemingly going to be this show's Krypto. A government ID? Nice try, lady. I guess Lois or Jimmy will end up adopting him. I guess Clark could but if they're savvy at all, that could compromise his secret identity. Loved the writing with the anchor's lines. No dogs are in danger. Clark is relieved. Anchor says nearby civilians are in danger though. lmao.

I think the dog was definitely a nod to classic Krypto but if we do get him, he's probably not going to be conventional in the slightest .

It was so lol that even the W.O.R.M.S. crew thought Jimmy was super oblivious that Doris was suss. Even though she asked about Kryptonite, going into space in season 2, and traveling the multiverse in season 1 THEN asking him to tell her about himself. The werewolf was a fun homage to Superman's Pal #44. Jimmy, Jimmy. Never tell a jilted suitor you want to just be friends. Loved the solve was what initially harmed Jimmy. And Jimmy was lured back with a paid sponsorship. Tazzala dropping him when he says he's off the apps then picks him back up when he agrees to the deal. Fun romcom story. Great contrast with the other story.

Don't forget the wobbly, elastic, arms like Jimmy's Legion identity Elastic Lad .

Honestly I think he really said that because she was ostensibly heading to jail for forcibly mutating him which kind of precludes dating, but she was not in a mode to listen to reason !

I think the romcom vibe is probably why they didn't take Giganta as a threat seriously, like, at all. Or any villain threat not named Henshaw .

If Doris managed to go unidentified by victims and sign up for matchmaking, it seems this was her debut as Giganta. While this wasn't the first time a non-Superman character has popped up and yeah, they could've found a Superman villain but in the long run, this could help further seed this show's universe. Lord willing if we get a My Adventures with Wonder Woman show, we got Giganta already set up.

She didn't seem like she was hiding herself well at all so it's kind of surprising that there was any mystery as to who the Distortionist is until she was arrested for transforming Jimmy. Does WORMS just have better security or ...?

When she mentioned "friends" who know her by her villain name, my immediate assumption was she was referring to Villainy Inc. .

On the other side of the coin, we're getting further evidence of Hank using way excessive force without a care in the world. Tossing a purse thief into a light pole that hard? Chucking Mist hard into that stone planter. Punching Rough House into a hill. Attacking Superman when the incident was over. They very well and in short order, this is just episode 3, showed us that hey don't worry, this show's Hank is an unrepentant jerk lacking any empathy or restraint and has an ideology of might makes right. The reveal of his cyborg nature was a great parallel of his nature being revealed to the public at large. Woof, Slade cannot catch a break anymore on this show. Anyone want to take bets Lex's failsafe won't last long?

Honestly how much of this is Hank and how much of this is the cybernetic upgrade driving him insane? Though I know he was a Superman hater back in season 2, it just feels like normal Cyborg-Superman is usually a complex, tragic, figure than what we seem to be getting here .

But OOOO, man, we got a Jon Kent Superboy from the future who dresses like the Kon-El Superboy! So it seems we got an apocalypse future that Superboy needs to fix much like Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Z or Superman X in Legion of Superheroes. Brushing aside how Lex made a time travel watch, this is gonna get interesting. Out of control Lex Drones. Hmm. Cyborg Superman revolts methinks and assimilates the drones to his control. I mean, technopathy ability? Probably. Instant army. Lex, Lex. Never just have one failsafe. And Superboy has to take down Cyborg Superman before it's too late in order to change the future. But then that will probably get into the rules of time travel. If they win, will Jon just blip out of existence? Is it that set in stone Clark and Lois will have a child? Or will they knowing they have a son in a possible future that's being overwritten as they speak? So if the credits call him Jon Kent, he's going to be Clark and Lois' son. So much for taking it slow. More stress here we come, lol.

Honestly they're so obviously ripping from DBZ (future son comes back in time to stop an android/cyborg apocalypse) while also having Jon rip off Conner's entire wardrobe that it just doesn't really do it for me...though it is kind of funny that bald Lex is actually the good version .
