It would be pretty cool if Darkseid ends up being the big bad on Green Lantern's show instead of Superman's.

I was thinking Red Lanterns (though they were on GL TAS, that shouldn't stop them from appearing here). I wonder if Greg Eagles might be voicing the villain instead of Kilowog.

The Thunderers and Weaponers of Qward would be a choice. They've hardly been used in animation.

If her high school is supposedly named after Hal Jordan, he'd be around. But given the reaction to aliens in MAWS, doesn't seem like GL is a known hero on Earth and his exploits were off world but he's maybe a war hero instead here? But yeah, since we got Cruz and Rayner in high school, it lends to the question of what's the status the 'older' characters.

They're definitely changing up her GL design. She's got a "crown" ala Sailor Moon instead of her usual GL eye mark .

Kyle looks like...a guy. Which I guess fits .

So their interpretation of Nikki is going to be a tough girl always willing to throw a punch I guess .

It's still in production, and we still are not sure when it's coming out. We've got to figure out how the show is going to be distributed. We're in production, we're making it, and we're not in danger of being done before we have distribution. But we also need to lock down the best way, in the world of Warner Brothers Discovery-Paramount-Skydance, for the show to be released in 2028, 2027, or whenever it is that it comes out.

They also confirm no Simon Baz in season 1 but tease he could if there's more seasons and revealed they listen to their auditions blind and don't know the names, they just listen and pick the voice.

Kind of wild that in-between all these company mergers/consolidations it's hard to figure out where to release a show .
