Auran Development/n3vrf41l Publishing/N3V Games' Trainz series started in 2001 and has stuck to releases on Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android (minus the spin-off Turbo Trainz coming to Wii in 2012), but that has now changed with the recent annoucement of Trainz Simulator: World Tour, coming exclusively to Xbox Series X. (though it seems less completely new and more based upon Trainz 22 and/or 19)

The trailer has drawn some controversy for having an AI generated song and the 11 driver portraits also being AI generated, although they've stated in a pinned comment that nothing else in the game uses AI.

Seems that the game is getting a PC port, as I noticed that it got a Steam page a few days ago.

Meanwhile, the Xbox Series X version eventually released last year on October 23.
