International Nickelodeon Thread Part 17

What is it with Australia and being against animation side channels?
That said, the only animation side channel the country ever got was Boomerang, which launched a year before the Asian feed and managed to still operate until 2025, even after 2012 (when Boomerang Asia got replaced with the Asian feeds of Cartoonito and Toonami) and 2023 (when Cartoonito Asia replaced Boomerang again).

Even the market was relatively small, for like 20 million, mostly found in state capitals and near them, not even half of the population could afford pay-TV 20 years ago

That makes sense, since CN is already animation-focused.

Nickelodeon CEE started airing promo for Sonic Prime with error. In the Bulgarian audio track the announcer is saying new episodes but it's a new series idk if on the other tracks is like that. Also on this promo they are using older end board and there could be another error with the text because by default is putted almost at the corner idk if they will move it at the center for this promo.

They are also airing promos for Super Duper Bunny League, Kamp Koral and The Casagrandes, saying that they are "brand new series, [airing] every day".

Can't believe that instead of NickToons Network they just launched a Nick NZ feed that only lasted 4 years.
Actually Paramount didn't close Nick in New Zealand sky tv closed it along with CN

They are saying brand new series only for Kamp Koral the promo is airing from 2023 and they forgot to remove it like Super Duper Bunny League one. I don't care for The Casagrandes one because it's still airing like the fourth season of TLH is full of Casagrandes.

This could mean that the traslations for Nickelodeon G.U. simply stink. That could also explain the weird phrasing in recent LatAm promos.

I would say it's the original script that stinks, as I was referring to the English announcements. :D

Not to mention that those shows are nowhere to be found in the May, June or July listings.

In the LatAm Spanish case it's also the translations. And the sad thing is that it wasn't the case until late March...

I can reassure everyone that the streaming rights for most Nickelodeon shows on SkyShowtime have been renewed for another year.

So, as I said, this happens every year - they simply license the rights for one year at a time. Thanks for your attention, and see you here again next year.

I think that both had dubs but never aired for some reason. Birthday Wish never aired on its own
you sure? Because i'm certain the FTA Disney Channel Spain did air those 2

Yet, Nicktoons Global goes further:
  • The Patrick Star Show S01 E07a/08/10a; S02 E06b/E08b/E09b; S03 E04a/10; S04 E11
TPSS 206b/208b/209b/304a never aired on Nickelodeon Global Limited (including Asia) or Nicktoons Global.

Strangely enough, it started when Australia, ZA, and the Nordics copied the same schedule as Asia, though they had an opt-out feed. Those episodes didn't even premiere in these countries until May to June 2025 except Asia. At the time it was called "Nickelodeon Global with Loud House opt-out" from the map chart, Asia was one of them that had it, though only selected due to issues with homosexuality in the region (except Singapore, Thailand, and the Phillipines).

I remember that Nick Iberia skipped Go Young, West Man from the Nelvana batch of FOPs
I remember in Japan, NHK-E skipped "Who R Zoo?" and "Kwarantined Krab" from its Season 12 run in 2022 and 2023. Though they aired "Lighthouse Louie" and "Hiccup Plague" without any warning.

Nickelodeon CEE and Nickelodeon Asia will air the whole season 1 of TLH in July. Also I think the channel scheduler for Nickelodeon CEE got changed because I never saw them before to remove the Christmas and Halloween episodes.

Will the latter unban episodes? If so, then maybe it'd be a huge deal!

Are u talking about Nickelodeon Asia because I don't think there is banned episodes on Nickelodeon CEE
I am. And no, I don't think the latter feed can be called "CEE" anymore given that it also properly covers Scandinavia and Portugal too.
