International Nickelodeon Thread Part 16

MTV and Comedy Central LA/BR had cross-promos with automation last year, so it's definitely not impossible

Comedy Central’s automated text is better than Nickelodeon one. I’m sure that if they spent more time improving Nickelodeon automated texts, they will be good.

Nick Israel Hanukkah promo 2009

The Best Day of the Year: the ten favorite SpongeBob episodes chosen by viewers
The finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender
Hanukkah that year was from December 11-19

"Please note that due to delays in accessing localization we’ve had to post-pone the re-introduction of ‘Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom’ on Nick Jr. Global.

The re-introduction of the series has been moved from May 11th to June 15th, tune-in time remains the same."
A friend of mine suggested that the series never received an Amharic dub; perhaps they gave the dubbing studio an extended deadline thus delaying the premiere? Turns out this was already mentioned in the thread, whoops!

Here's some interesting Nick facts!
When Nickelodeon Wallonia launched in October 4, 2011, it shared the same schedule like its neighbor Nickelodeon France, until it had a fully independent schedule sometime in the 2010s.

In February 2006, Nickelodeon Spain held a SpongeBob block titled "Momentos Estelares de Bob Esponja" which ended with the premiere of "Dunces and Dragons" on February 24. The rest of the first half of Season 4 didn't air until December 2006, according to NEEO magazine, which had the plots for "Fear of a Krabby Patty," "Shell of a Man," "Have You Seen This Snail?," and "Patrick SmartPants" etc.

Nickelodeon Turkey and South Africa was the king of leaks of The Loud House. Mainly airing the first season except for episodes 109a, 116, 119, and 120, when they concluded it on October 14, and no one notice it until now.

And if it wasn't enough for Nickelodeon South Africa, DSTV Catch Up was the king of leaking almost all of SpongeBob Season 12, which no one notice it until 2020, when someone DM'd DSTV on Twitter that they released almost all of SpongeBob Season 12 from their premiere weeks except for 247, 261b, and 263b. This was found out by @BDTYA in ESB
Which I provided a list:
242b (02/01/2019) Unconfirmed thought possible when Nick Africa and Turkey aired 232, 235, 236, 238-243, except this episode.
244b (09/20/2019)
246a (09/20/2019)
251a (09/20/2019) Though reported earlier.
253b (02/28/2020)
257a (09/20/2019)
258a (10/18/2019)
259b (10/18/2019)
260 (02/14/2020)
264 (02/14/2020)
265 (02/28/2020)

"How cute, OR IS IT? Back at the Barnyard, the wildest show in the meadow, is coming to Nick, and is bringing to you a particularly funny and crazy summer, with the funniest and most animalistic heroes who have ever entered your home. Back at the Barnyard, Thursdays at 10:45, only on Nick."
(2008)

Question about Nick Jr.:

There were some localised feeds launched prior to 2010, like Germany and the Netherlands. Were they just closed down once NJ Global launched??

Nickelodeon GU June Highlights:

The Marsupilamis
The Rugrats S3
Sonic Prime
SpongeBob Squarepants

I wonder which version of Nick Jr. served the post-Soviet countries. The channel appeared in Russian in 2010, and a year later (2011) it was already in Russia.

Nick Jr. Netherlands still exist there is also text on the promos.

Wrong, it merged with Global at the end of February.

Prior to that, the channel lost advertising and was connected to Global already

Oh mb i didn't know they merged it.

Also I caught rare filler on Nick Jr. yesterday. I'm saying rare because this feed barely air fillers or bumpers also at the start of the filler the lag is not from me.

Not sure if this is the right thread or not for this, but I've made some recent discoveries on the SkyShowtime streaming service:
The movie Rugrats Go Wild has not one but two official dubs (not voice-overs, dubs) not previously documented on the Dubbing Database wiki, both of which are are fully available on SkyShowtime. These are dubs in Romanian and Slovene.

The Slovene dub as seen on SkyShowtime (which has the full theatrical cut of the movie) leaves the songs in undubbed English and leaves a lot of nonverbal grunts undubbed, but it also bizarrely leaves quite a few lines here and there in undubbed English for no real reason (hinting at the dub either being somehow incomplete, or based directly off of an edited version of the movie that removes some scenes—possibly Minimax; the latter could necessitate leaving "censored" lines in undubbed English if they were never dubbed into Slovene). Also, pretty much all of the male Rugrats baby characters (Chuckie, Tommy, Phil etc.) are voiced by men in this dub (not including randomly undubbed lines, undubbed grunts or undubbed singing).

The Romanian dub has pretty much all the songs dubbed (except the ones that don't require dubbing) and doesn't suffer from the "random undubbed lines" problem of the Slovene dub.

Other dubs available on SkyShowtime include Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, Castilian Spanish, Czech and Hungarian, plus the ITI Film Studio Polish voice-over, all of which have previously been documented beforehand.

these are new made/added fillers, so that's why they didn't aired it before

Everyone applause these two characters, for soon getting their own spin-off full animated series!!! (who would have expected a series with PB and Marceline anyway? I know they have an upcoming comic book series which will go well with)

Watched Toy Story 5 today. It felt like another awesome escapade for the characters, while also they taught an important lesson: it's ok to be different, especially if you still like to play with toys. Lily turned from an antagonist to a hero of the movie, because of realising exactly that.
