I'm Giving Up Hope for Oswald The Lucky Rabbit Getting His Own TV Series

I just hope the Disney studios will give Oswald The Lucky Rabbit his own series or shorts in the near future.
Again, the main issue I see with putting Oswald in a star vehicle would be keeping him from just being a clone of Mickey (not that such a thing is impossible, but it is something that would need to be considered). As I said earlier, I don't necessarily think he needs his own show or shorts, though if Disney could do that without Oswald just being a Mickey rehash, then I wouldn't be against it. They could just make him a recurring character in the Disney shorts and that would be fine with me.
And I don’t want to get any ideas of thinking that Disney is going to remake or reboot of Epic Mickey. It’s probably a false rumor trying to get Epic Mickey fans like me to get excited about it.
The Mouse House is definitely not rebooting or remaking Epic Mickey. Disney bowed out of console gaming a long time ago. The current regime believes that mobile and virtual gaming are the future, which is why they shut down their console department thus killing Epic Mickey's assorted sequels and knockoffs (one of which being Epic Donald, which I really would've liked to have seen. Mickey was supposed to appear in a couple of ED's levels, which is probably the closest we'll ever get to seeing Mickey on DuckTales).

If Disney still wanted Epic Mickey around, they wouldn't dropped the ax on it in the first place. Disney could, repeat, could take @Heeroyuy_Batman's suggestion and redo Epic Mickey as a feature or special or miniseries on Disney+, which while not likely, is at least possible.

Neither Disney nor Square Enix would ever agree to that. For whatever reason, neither studio has any interest in exploiting Kingdom Hearts that way.
Let me clarify. When I said it would make a great animated film, I don't mean it should happen. I'm aware on that Disney and Square Enix aren't keen on doing so but fair enough.

I guess that's sounds fine, but the only problem is, Disney is not ready to give up Paul Rudish and his crew for making more Mickey Mouse shorts or specials yet. I guess it's going to be awhile to find someone to become the new producer of future Mickey Mouse and friends cartoons. Maybe in WDAS since they're starting making projects for Disney+.

It's not like Paul Rudish is the only person at Disney allowed to make projects starring Mickey and company. The Disney characters can appear in numerous projects supervised by different producers and teams at the same time. IIRC The now scrapped Oswald series wasn't being made under Rudish.

I suppose you’re right. I mean, they did give Chip ‘N’ Dale they’re own series like Rescue Rangers and Park Life. It’s too bad that Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Life won’t get a second season. Oh well!

I take that back! Chip N Dale: Park Life has surprisingly renewed for Second Season.

Amy Sedaris has been cast.

They also announce this: Jon Favreau’s ‘Oswald The Lucky Rabbit’ Casts Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Mykal-Michelle Harris & Ryder Allen In Series Lead Roles

Wonder who will voice Oswald?

I guess the guy who voiced oswald in the epic mickey games
Frank Welker didn't voice him in the recent Speedstorm and Disney Dreamlight Valley games though.

You are correct! His name is David Errigo Jr. He's also the current voice of Ferb from Phineas and Ferb.

Jon Favreau divulges more details about the new series.

SPA Studios, who did Klaus for Netflix, will be doing the animation.

Yippee skippy!:DBut I have to be cautious here. Because I've been obsessing with hand drawn or 2D animation for a long time.I just don't want to get in trouble. But still, thank you.

Just in time for his 100th anniversary.

Hi, welcome to Toonzone

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol
