Tangled director Nathan Greno said how he had ideas for a sequel to Tangled at Walt Disney Animation Studios, but it was scrapped since they couldn't come up with a good story. I'm guessing Tangled The Series doesn't count since Disney Television Animation made it.

Maybe the budget was high for it as well.

Tangled was really good and successful, so I figured that there were at least talks for a sequel. I'm not too surprised that it didn't come together though. It might have been hard to figure out what story could work for a feature length movie after Rapunzel already got her happily ever after.

As interesting as it would have been if they could have made a sequel, I think it worked out in the long run. Tangled the series was a great TV continuation, added some cool new lore, had great music and a pretty solid storyline. It was engaging from start to finish that I don't know a sequel could have been able to do. It wasn't a flawless series, but it was really good and made me wish that Disney did more TV continuations of their movies.

They can always return to do the movie if at some point Disney needs more movies. I wouldn't say it won't be reconsidered. Right now it's just "we can talk again" type of situation.

Hi, welcome to Toonzone

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol

honestly I like to think of this as some kind of "payback" too
