International Nickelodeon Thread Part 16

in Poland two Nickelodeons were also operating at the same time: one local one with the old logo, and the second a new European one with the new logo.
But didn't they turn into one channel on March 1?

According to old discussions on port.hu, the same happened to Nickelodeon Hungary (some providers got a rebranded Nick on February 15 while the rest had to wait until March 1).

The Traditional Chinese subtitle during premiere of That Girl Lay Lay episode "Sorori-Tay-Tay" on Nickelodeon Asia was totally messed up

September 2009 Nick PT subtitle track flashbacks: after the CEE to Spain switch, garbled subtitles appeared

Poland got the merged channel on March 1 on a different frequency, and it became the priority for operators, while the local channel was slowly dying.

Nickelodeon in Hungary was never local, so it is strange to see that the rebrand happened there earlier. Hmm. Maybe Hungary was the first to get the updated Nick Euro.

I found the original source where the recording of the transition was uploaded.

New episodes of SpongeBob have arrived in Moscow. Alexander Gavrilin is dubbing them today.

Nickelodeon Israel promo for Nick Cinema block, 2008:

Promo for Fairy Idol

Lack of documentation makes it hard to pinpoint an approximate date

Back when cartoons other than SpongeBob were subtitled. Even half the CN shows that made it to Arutz HaYeladim were dubbed

Is the closure official? I'm thinking twice before sharing the tweet on the closures thread.

After Super! closes, this leaves Italy with no FTA home for Nickelodeon content (at least outside of the Nick Jr. stuff), unless Boing picks them up again.
Or if that channel or K2 airs it upon approval of the merger

Judging by the clips of ChalkZone and Kenan and Kel shown in this promo (both shows had their special episodes, The Big Blow Up and Two Heads are Better Than None respectively airing on the block) is safe to say that this is October 2008

But the news article linked just says the WBD shareholders have voted in favor of the merger with Paramount. It doesn't say anything about Paramount scaling down or delocalizing its Italian operations.

Someone on Instagram hinted at Super!'s closure

Trust Plazzotta, he's an insider.

If the Italian management is being shut down, I could also see Nickelodeon's being moved elsewhere and the channels being played by a Dutch team, if not likely merging with global feeds

Yeah, I was expecting the closure of Nick Italy. And maybe also MTV Italy.

It's as if they want to accelerate the merging process.

Nickelodeon Asia doesn't even air all of the seasons of iCarly they are only airing the second one for some reason.

I just look continuity for Nickelodeon LA feed and its seems like they have the same problem with the fillers like the Global one.

They probably gonna air them in June?
Well. It's the end.

Super! will close soon™️, as said by Claudio Plazzotta.

It was expected if they are not gonna close it now then they will close it when they merge with WBD.

Hi, welcome to Toonzone

There's something about seeing kids cry after they mess up big time that really gets to me. One can definitely feel bad for Layla.
I don't know I gonna post it but i think I may had spread the disney abandoning blue sky studios like they did with fox kids/jetix propaganda onto awinger24 and now hes fears of paramount & warner bros
Europeans right now are experiencing the same Heatwave that africans face on a daily basis lol
