There’s a Phantasm haunting the Gotham City Opera House! Batman and Mystery Inc. are determined to exorcise this spirit before someone gets seriously hurt, owner “Theatric” Al Perry needs it to happen before his retirement fund gets seriously hurt, and Dr. Leslie Thompkins doesn’t care about anything but acquiring the building to serve as a new neighborhood clinic so she can help residents who’ve been seriously hurt. Who will prevail?

New interview with Paul Dini on the B:TAS PODCAST. A few tidbits about Batman: The Adventures Continue (@5:30):

- By the time they were telling the Ra's Al Ghul story, both Dini and Burnett were feeling a little ''Batman'd out''.
- However, they do want to keep the door open to do a big special(s) although it will probably not happen for a while.
- The reason for the pause is (Dini feels) due to Batman: Caped Crusader taking the spotlight and setting the new standard for Batman in the ''Animated Style'' for a couple of years.
- He assumes DC will be working on a comic book tie-in for B:CC and would not want to flood the market with two similar style books.

- If DC/Dini/Burnett pursue their story idea, it would most likely be in the tone of The Animated Series, but in a different art style.

I wonder if that includes the Deathstroke-Sunny-Red Hood idea they hinted at before or something else.

Pretty fair points (and they did deliver three seasons) although points to Paul Dini's confidence in Caped Crusader :p.

I haven't heard much about the Batman Beyond tie-in comic, I wonder if it's worth picking up...
