    South Park Season 21 Talkback

While I agree something needs to be done about the bolded aspect, I thought it was handled pretty funnily in the latest episode, especially with Cartman's scene at the police station and Heidi being told that she's finally free, yet still holding everything up. Honestly, despite a fairly dull...

    1987 Ducktales vs. 2017 Ducktales.

The bolded is very true, DuckTales back in the 80s was essentially the exception (besides Gummi Bears and Bakshi's Mighty Mouse) to what was a creatively bankrupt era. Today, while I rank the new DuckTales to be just as good, in the end, it's not a big game-changer like the original was.

    Universal Kids (formerly Sprout) (TALKBACK)

Huh, I forgot that movie was made under Universal, obviously things have changed, but I was referring to movies like An American Tail, Land Before Time and Balto. There you go then! But yeah, like I implied, airing the Walter Lantz cartoons seemed unlikely, I just mentioned this since we...

    Universal Kids (formerly Sprout) (TALKBACK)

This might be a long shot, but I wonder if the Walter Lantz cartoons will make it to the lineup one way or another, they're under NBCUniversal after all. On a related note, I wouldn't be surprised to see the animated Universal movies of the 80s and 90s show up during whatever movie block they...

Cartoon Network is a roller coaster.

This needs to be emphasized A LOT more. I mentioned in another post here once (granted, I'm more of a lurker than a poster), but the frustration with CN's current problem is that it's easy to fix. Just a little less airing of Teen Titans Go, and give, well, all the other shows a fair chance...

    "DuckTales" (2017) Series Talkback (Spoilers)

I'm definitely getting a slight Gravity Falls vibe from this, me like, a lot. The only aspect that I'm still getting used to are Huey, Duey and Louie's voices. This is mostly because the only other notable (not as many know of Donald's Fire Survival Plan and/or Scrooge McDuck & Money) piece of...

"New Looney Tunes" News & Discussion Thread

I welcome the change, everyone gets a spotlight this way. Now they need to just give this show proper airtime, or put these on Netflix/Streaming Service. It's criminal how this show's being treated up to this point (at least in the US).

    "DuckTales" (2017) Series Talkback (Spoilers)

Eh, while the nephews' voices will take some getting used to, I know they'll grow on me. Besides, this isn't even the second time their voices went a non-quackish direction so to speak, watch 1967's Scrooge McDuck and Money to see what I mean. As for that teaser, this is beyond exciting. And...

Talkback - New Looney Tunes - Episodes Discussion

While I agree they could use a better name than 'New Looney Tunes' (heck, this would have been their chance to use the Laff Riot title they were going to use before The Looney Tunes Show), I welcome this change. Now the shorts won't 'have' to be just Bugs focused (if Daffy and Porky's...

Why do people single out this network's schedule in particular?

Oh I absolutely agree with the above, CN would be beyond amazing if it combined how well the scheduling was handled from 1997-2004 and the shows it has at its disposal right now. The point I made was to shoot down any nostalgia for the 'Johnny Test era', because even if the scheduling had a tiny...

    Gravity Falls Finale

Honestly, I was somewhat underwhelmed. It wasn't terrible, or even just average, but it didn't even come close to being on the same level as Not What He Seems quality wise. The series kept building upon itself, and the finale was being widely advertised as 'the reveal of the biggest secrets'...

Why do people single out this network's schedule in particular?

Fair enough, but for me, I felt it was a testament of the sorry state of CN that era because it largely relied on imported and live action shows rather than originality (i.e. CN Originals or WBA). Some CN originals/WBA shows were there, yes, but from 2008-early 2010, they were overshadowed.

Why do people single out this network's schedule in particular?

I know this is a late reply, but I feel the need to address this: That was true post 2010-2014 or so when AT, RS and Gumball (and other similar shows) were gaining more popularity and causing JT to gradually air less, but are we forgetting 2008-2009 when not only Johnny Test aired even more...

Any sign of new episodes of Wabbit

Jeez, this show is being treated so BADLY in the US it's not even funny. Even The Looney Tunes Show received proper airing time during its run.

South Park - Season 20 Talkback

I'd argue the bolded has been a problem for about 8 years or so, but because of this being an election year and all, Parker and Stone used it to essentially build that giant story arc of Season 20, which ESPECIALLY considering the surprise outcome, didn't work to South Park's advantage. Having...
