Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! News and Discussion Thread

Definitely an interesting predicament indeed especially when you consider the fact that the NY talent pool is pretty small at this point, which is crazy considering that they should have at least a big enough talent pool with actors from Broadway and such. Though I do like that they are more...

    C&C - Naruto Series Talkback [5/31/24-12/20/25]

That’s actually really interesting to hear that the CN airing added groans to dead bodies. I always thought that was an edit exclusively to the Disney XD airing of Shippuden but I never knew CN did that too. Then again I kinda seem to forget that Naruto was heavily edited very early on during...

    C&C - Naruto Series Talkback [5/31/24-12/20/25]

Pretty much. Funny since from the Chunin Exams onwards is where Naruto starts to get more violent, so the fact that CN aired it near uncut despite all that is amazing.

The Stuart Snyder era of CN is underrated

Yea this era of non toyetic anime on kids' TV was very interesting indeed as somebody in the 6-11 demographic at that point in time(I was 7 years old btw). First off you had DBZ Kai on Nicktoons and 4Kids, Shippuden on Disney XD and freaking Deltora Quest on The Hub of all places. It’s weird how...

    Cartoon Network Rebrand in 2007

Wow that’s crazy so the logo is real! Very interesting. It would’ve be interesting to actually see this CN logo in use. Imagining the logo being yellow with Pikachu stripes actually sounds pretty cool. Too bad it didn’t happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Cartoon Network Rebrand in 2007

Yea that CN black and green logo looks very interesting indeed. It’s like 2004 logo but without the borders. All the things that’s happen to CN during those years really starts to make sense but damn I didn’t think things were looking dire for them around that time. If I remember correctly...

    Cartoon Network Rebrand in 2007

Wow, very interesting. So the plan for CN to be kid-oriented like Nick and Disney was gonna happen under Samples then, not Snyder. And here I thought it was because of Snyder why CN was the way it was in the late 2000s when it Samples the whole time. Snyder just accelerated the progress. I do...

Total Drama News & Discussion thread

Yea pretty much, especially considering that this season is 26 episodes so premieres should last them until November. I really hope there’s new stuff for CN later in the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    AnimeDubs Thread

Wow I can’t believe this thread is still active. Thanks @LinusFan303 for keeping it alive, my friend. Now I got some dub news for you guys. Sand Land: The Anime, from the Late Akira Toriyama, will have its English dub premiere on Hulu April 10. Mission: Yozakura Family and Go Go Loser Ranger...

    "Toonami" News & Discussion Thread

I wouldn’t even lie this reminds me of that one time 4Kids had a Brawl-a-thon for DBZ Kai. Very nostalgic.

Does anyone Think CN will shut down one day, since Adult Swim ratings is getting more higher and CN losing its hours

I love this comment, so I’ll share my thoughts. CN should’ve transitioned into a general audience channel years ago because if they did, they would be in a much better place. I don’t know if they can do it now but I certainly hope they will.

    "Toonami" News & Discussion Thread

Wait, Wait, Wait, hold up? How the hell did Toonami get the Mugen Train arc of Demon Slayer? I thought Aniplex prevented them from air due to the movie doing well. Very interesting development. I didn’t think Demon Slayer would return to the block.

    "Toonami" News & Discussion Thread

If Digimon Adveenture 2020 was gonna air on a TV, it would’ve been on TV already. That’s one of the reason why the dub took as long as it did to come out since Toei was trying to get it on TV. That’s probably also the reason why it took Dragon Quest the Adventure of Dai so long to come out with...

    "Toonami" News & Discussion Thread

This was said perfect. For Toei, Adult Swim is absolutely a last resort in the event that none of the kids networks try to grab it. I definitely could see Disney XD air this but then there’s the problem that the network hasn’t had a non-toygetic anime since Shippuden, but then again things could...

    "Toonami" News & Discussion Thread

Doubtful. When the Funiroll merger happened, Crunchyroll built a brand new in-house studio where they dub most of their stuff. Ever since the merger has happened, Crunchyroll hasn't used the LA studios except for sequels that were dubbed before the merger. They don't even outsource in general...
