I’m sorry, but Z getting hit in the head from a rock like that should’ve killed her, especially judging from the bleeding on her forehead, or even brain damaged at best
Fair enough
Another defense a friend made is that it can actually be funny in a way. "You'd expected the usually R-rated profanity but get the more Silver Age Comic bookey "Holey Moley" just works." "There is a time for this, and there's a time for Wonder Bread!"
so the fact they still act...
Gotta love how the most recent episode of depicts body horror that's pretty much R-rated, yet one of the characters respond with "Holy Moley!" I mean... if you're gonna go all out with the gore and bloodshed, you may as well throw in profanity as well.
Only other thing I think worth critiquing in this film is it's portrayal of Lady Shiva.
Here she seems too cold and bitter. And yeah I know the character is supposed to be a ruthless assassin type character, but in spite of her prowess she can also exhibit some amusement and even an gallows...
I mean some snake guys did get decapitated, and one had it's face smashed by Richard against the floor. And either way there is still plenty of blood here and there.
I'l start off with the the story that closest follows Under the Red Hood... which is just a rehash of that film.
I mean I don't mind them revisiting it, but I hoped they'd do their own spin on that story to differentiate it from the movie. Maybe some re-animated scenes, some newly animated...
Watching this my first thoughts were "... Wasn't this supposed to be a Nickelodeon show... you know, for kids?"
But then a friend of mine showed my the original source then it clicked--
Ah, they're are two animated shows. One obviously for adults and in 2D, and another for Kids which will be 3D.
Primer - A relatively new title I think could do well with it's own animated film in do time if allowed.
Superman vs the Clan - The art style is easily animatable, although I'll admit it can be challenging to tackle white supremacist groups in a middle-grade specific medium in film I think it...
Honestly they should just cancel the show altogether. Kate Kane IS Batwoman, and replacing her with a completely made up character from scratch, even if she is another Lesbian, will just throw off the audience.
Then again if they do decide to continue, then I'd rather think of Batwoman as...
I think it's pretty clear at this point this show is suppose to be a parody of DC lore. So the creative team taking all these creative liberties actually kind'a makes sense from a meta perspective.
