This is among one of the best news in physical media this year and I'll definitely be buying the set for both formats (though the Blu-ray I'll ask Santa for Christmas).
I want to see Disney release a complete Mickey Mouse box set, it be icing on the cake for Disney's 100th/Mickey's 95th.
With that in mind, I'm creating an event this Friday (Mickey's 94th birthday) to get the ball rolling and get Disney consider making it AND maybe through a deal with Criterion...
Removing the 90's block was a big mistake. I don't care if you can't all of it on Paramount+, who wouldn't like to watch these shows when they come on linear TV?
But they can't up being the same 4 shows over and over again (that happened every time they made a 90's block), every day needs to be...
I got to say I'm impressed with what Disney XD has done lately; Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers marathon, acquiring the new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, Otakuninja2006 is right; this could be the start of something new for Disney XD after being in a rut for quite some time (although having a National Geographic...
I saw this myself tonight, so cool Disney is airing their older original movies again.
Really wish sometimes they went back to airing a movie every night at 8.
Technically speaking isn't Blue Sky already absorbed/folded into Fox/Disney (now)? It's a moot discussion.
The tax evasion reveal certainly came out of left field. If THAT'S the reason why the studio went bankrupt then...better than Disney not seeing "profitable" anymore.
I welcome the idea of Disney+ shows on linear TV. There are people who actually prefer regular TV over streaming and airing 101 Dalmatian Street can actually benefit Disney XD.
If this works, it may convince Disney to keep doing it in the future.
Now THAT is interesting because I don't remember the season 2 listing containing this. So this is either a season 3 episode or an episode made exclusively outside Australia to replace Dad Baby.
EDIT: Turns out it's neither. It's the 52nd episode in season 2:
I still think whatever titles Disney still has in their Saban library is very important to them.
Ironically, they now own the studio that sold it to them in the first place and if anything (and being the case) it should stay with them.
Ditto.
I say it's about time because I think we were all tired of seeing nothing but TTG day after day after day etc.
A rebranding is just what this channel needs and targeted to a perfect audience. Provided though it's done perfectly.
So yeah, I'll be looking forward to this.
