That series didn't air on Nickelodeon, it aired on MTV. Ed Asner was indeed the voice of the Cop on the MTV Spidey Series and he was also JJ on the 90s Spidey Series. He is also Uncle Ben in the Spectacular Spider-Man series as well. Ed is the one actor connected to all three series.
