    "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" Feature Talkback (Spoilers)

Here's my feeling about that. I think the Barda stuff can be defended and enjoyed as it's own isolated thing, but in context of the movie I felt, "hey, isn't this a movie about Supergirl? Why am I getting all this Barda stuff all of a sudden?" and I was peeved that when we do get back to Kara...

    "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" Feature Talkback (Spoilers)

So, I was all set to skip this one. Knowing that it was adapted from the same writer run as "Public Enemies" made me feel safe that it was not worth watching. But a relative happened to see it on demand and ask I check it out with them. Coming away from it, I was glad it was at least not as bad...

"Batman: Under the Red Hood" Feature Talkback (Spoilers)

The first time I watched it, (I've watched it 3 times today!) I missed Nightwing in the second two acts of the film. But it's probably for the best he was dumped when he was. The finale, (and what a finale!) is laser focused on Bruce and Jason. Dick's input probably would have cluttered things.

"Batman: Under the Red Hood" Blu-ray/DVD Talkback (Spoilers)

I didn't get the blu ray because I don't have a player, but I would have wanted to see "Robin's Requiem the tale of Jason Todd." has anyone seen this? how is it? Because they made the irritating decision to make that a Blu ray exclusive, I only bought the single disc dvd edition. Anything good...

"Batman: Under the Red Hood" Feature Talkback (Spoilers)

I'm working on a youtube review of this for my full thoughts, (my latest noble experiment likely come failure,) but I wanted to share this atleast. I was there when BTAS was first premiered on Fox Kids in 1992, And ever since I have always held it as the pinnacle, gold standard of Batman story...

The Conundrum of the ABW/CO2E Counter Evolution

As much sense as that makes, it does seem odd that the story was positioned after Justice League Season 2, making it real soon in the continuity to retread a similar idea. (okay, I suppose the actual video not hitting for 7 years blunts it.)

What Is The True DC Continuity?

The answer, as always in cases like this, is all of them and none of them. but, for a specific project, use what works best for what you are trying to do. shoot, if necessary scrap the official stuff and make up a new timeline out of whole cloth.

The Conundrum of the ABW/CO2E Counter Evolution

Watched the latest DTV. was mostly like "ooooooooooh.... okay." disappointed they went with Hal instead of John. But I had this question! I've heard this go back and forth and not get a satisfactory answer, but here goes. Does anyone remember a commentary where the team said A Better World...

    Just getting into the DCAU.

ahh, this just warms the heart. great to see someone new discovering it. At one point, I actually did work up my version of the optimal viewing order on an episode by episode basis, but can't seem to find it right now. But never fear, it seems above posters already have that covered, and I...

What operating system do you use and why?

Given that in today's market a PC is only usable for about 4 years before becoming hopelessly obsolete, I tend not to upgrade existing hardware to new operating systems, as PCs usually tend to run best on whatever they came pre installed with. That said... my 2006 PC is running XP and is...

"Justice League Unlimited" returns to Cartoon Network

Maybe I've grown old and cynical but unless this is a prelude to an actual revival I still don't see this as CN making amends for anything. It's not like reruns of this series have gone away, it's been on Boomerang all this time (which is in many more households than it used to be. More cable...

"Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" Feature Talkback (Spoilers)

The reason I threw in that sentence is because I was afraid someone might actually say to me, "um, you know that it's not actually a JLU DCAU project right? it's its own thing." And I gotta say, your post does mostly come off as "No fair comparing it to the old stuff."
