People from rural regions are always more intense about Idol. See: Jasmine Trias making it to the top 3 on the power of Hawaii alone (which is much smaller than Arkansas). I love Adam, and I'm even considering buying tour tickets just to do see him, but no way in hell was I about to sit around...

According to this article, 38 million votes came from Arkansas alone. That's approximately 40% of the total vote. So you wanna know the main reason Kris won? Regional voting.

Wow, what a buzzkill. Adam/KISS blew everyone away, and the Queen number was basically Adam's song, and Kris wins? The show started with a bang and ended with a whimper. At the very least, Adam doesn't have to release that terrible song.

If Kris wins, he'll without question be the worst winner since Taylor Hicks. Adam basically defined this season, so a Kris victory would be a total buzzkill. Kris is just underwhelming in every way imaginable.

People who participate in fandom are generally pretty fail, imo, regardless of the fandom. If we're looking for specifics, though, I'd have to name Twilight, Radiohead, and console (as in PS3 vs. 360) fans. The most irritating out of an already annoying bunch.

Over the last week, I actually saw a lot of commercials late night (as in, after 10 PM) on network stations, mainly Fox and CW. In any case, the main issue with this movie is that it doesn't even look like Street Fighter. Kinda like how Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within didn't remotely resemble...

Now now, no need to be bitter. Penn was great in Milk, and he deserved his award.
