I haven't posted on these boards in a VERY long time...not regularly since JLU was on the air and there was so much activity and excitement surrounding it.

I wish they'd stay in some sort of continuity, and it's my biggest issue with these movies. Every time, it's a different set of circumstances that we have to guess at and different versions of the characters. We're supposed to care about awful things that happen to Superman or Robin or whoever...

A lot of new Broadway shows will do an out-of-town try-out and take that opportunity to work on the show and improve it while the New York critics are at bay. Of course, with the internet, they don't get the privacy they once had, but it's better than starting previews in New York off the bat...
God, yes. The last run of Batman Adventures was criminally short. I read each issue of the original Batman Adventures and Batman & Robin Adventures about twenty times each as a small kid.

It's not necessarily meant to be seen in widescreen. It was produced in fullscreen and the matted widescreen DVD is a pretty bad crop, probably just to differentiate it from the original release or make it seem more "grown-up."
Is it widescreen framed within a 4x3 window, cropped like the DVD release, or is it 4x3 in that its actually the full fullscreen image? (It was made in 4x3)
To be expected, I guess. Still sort of sad. Not sure I'll be able to sit through the Oscars this year knowing what the final outcome will probably be...
This has all been interesting for sure...on one hand, I'm very sad that Conan might be leaving and all, but on the other hand...wow. We've never seen this side/attitude of Conan before. And he's really been on fire lately.
