Yeah I agree there's something fishy surrounding selig's death, Imajine. It just happened so strangely... It just didn't feel quite right.
I personally think it could go either way. We never actually saw a body, but we never actually saw, well, anything ....
Yeah, you're right, Fronde, I just didn't make the connection that the assistant would be a synthoid. I dunno why, but when Jim said the hand looked female, I didn't think about it being both female and synthoid. That seems to be the only reasonable explanation to all this. But, if the...
I thought it was, Imajine. What Jim said made me think twice, though! I hadn't thought about his assistant being a synthoid, though (good thought, Fronde!). I didn't particularly notice the hand being feminine-looking, as Jim mentioned, but it coulda been.
Here's hoping Bob's optomism will...
Well, the hand seemed to me to be a synthoid hand. It looked like that synthetic flesh was growing back or something. But now that I think about it, it could have been the water simply running off. If it was supposed to be water, though, it sure was badly animated! It dripped and dried sideways...
I hope *somebody* picks up the series. It'd be cool if CN picked up the show and ordered new episodes as well. Unfortunately, I don't have cable, so I'd be a little less-pleased with that scenario.

Hey, Imajine- quick question. Who does the voice of Ro? I just realized I have no idea. I had noticed Mr. Bader's credit, but hadn't caught Ro's vocal alter ego.
Great interview, with Deidrich, BTW! Thanks for the link!

Actually, I've always liked TZP. Sure the first season's artwork needed some help, but I always liked watching ole Ro and Zee, and if it weren't for the occasional Bucky ep, I'd have enjoyed it alot more. Now that kid took some getting used to.
But I have to say, I have enjoyed season 2 a...
Man, this stinks. Why do we have an hour of Jackie Chan reruns when WB has multiple un-aired episodes of ZETA?
The artwork has greatly improved in season two, as well as the stories, so this is a series that will seriously be missed.
I truly hope Bob Goodman and the rest of the crew get...
Why does everyone think that Mattel getting the license guarantees us more variety? Ever hear of Barbie? Why do you guys think Mattel would give us any fewer Batman variants than Hasbro? They're well aware of how much money Hasbro's made over the years doing that, and while they might make a bit...
One thing about older animation is that it is hard to watch for long periods of time, because it was almost always shot on "two's" instead of "one's" like modern animation. In other words, each drawing was shot twice, lasting 1/12 of a second, instead of modern feature animation, where each...
Yes! I've been hoping Zeta would return. The second season of the show has really improved in terms of art direction. The backgrounds are more vivid, with more texture, and the characters have much better coloring as well, with shading that was absent in the first season. They all look rounder...
I, like most of you, thought Lilo & Stitch was great. I actually enjoyed it better than Iron Giant, and certainly better than Atlantis or TENG. I'm trying to decide if I like it better than Tarzan or not. They're pretty close in my view.
The characters were great, especially Lilo. You're...
Cap and Bucky all the way.
I don't like the idea of John just re-drawing an old comic cover. Besides, Superman's already had his tribute pic.
Later!

The idea of having her (Rettin) as the spokesperson is funny if you only think of her as a has-been celebrity. However, the reason they got her is that she's become fairly active in the christian market since then(writing a book, hosting a video series), and has a family of her own, so choosing...
