Yeah, sometimes I think really creative storytellers have some kind of sixth sense that lets them tap into alternate universes and steal ideas from real life there.
It always amuses me when creators say stuff like that. Wes Anderson does it a lot too on his DVD commentaries, saying stuff like "I think this is why he does so and so, but I'm not sure"
It's like they're not really creating their works, they're just getting visions of it and putting that to paper.
Anybody been checking out some of their free titles? I guess it's targeting more of the "alternative comics" crowd moreso than otakus. I guess I fall into that category.
In particular, I'm loving "Children of the Sea."
