Ehh... right now Vancouver feels amazing. I'm well aware of the budget cuts (Including to arts, social programs, and ironically sports and recreation) and the debt the city went into to pull off the Olympics, but.. maybe you could give it a week before the doom and gloom? :) The crappy weather...
I was excited by the Olympics but now I'm irritated. I just got accosted by a bunch of drunken frat boy Olympic revelers from out of town on the bus. Between that, the torch reroute, and the riot today, I now feel like I want it to be over. :(
At least Canada won a medal today!
I'm in Vancouver now. It's nuts! I hope this is a great Olympics - I saw the protesters block the torch relay this morning and it had to get rerouted. :(
Yes! I'm turning 26 on Sunday, female, and it's fabulous! I think there should be no pressure if you're not ready or not interested (I didn't start until 17) but, like all things with the gender you're attracted to, it's great with the right person!
