Hmm. Sounds like you're referring to 'Brainania', when the lab mice are surrounded first by the spears held by natives of Island X (Brainania), then later again surrounded by armed guards in the State Department. What The Brain refers to in the 2nd seizing is a quote of baseball's Yogi Berra...
cristian12345678 and Yum, please keep the thread relevant to the topic. Also, please don't include a bunch of video links that go on different tangents.
Let's try to keep it simple and to the point.
Now, a good point there about the E/I. Depending on where(network channel, cable/satellite...
[New Thread! All posts about Animaniacs relaunch news have been moved here.]
(Remember, they're just discussing this -- Nothing solid yet.)
I'm excited about this, and yet I have some reservations.
I hope they make some effort to draw the characters to look the way they did originally...
I got a very similar press kit for Animaniacs from ebay quite a while ago. I'll have to go dig into my archives of stuff, but I recall the cover I have was green with orange on the right, otherwise same character poses.
I think what the appeal of watching shows on TV is a sense of community. Any number of fans watching a certain channel are watching the same ep together (granted PVRs will greatly skew that). However, I do agree with the above as to why TV channels can't cater or sustain our nostalgic desires.
I don't read much into rumors because it's often hard to find a credible source to back one up. I just end up ignoring them.
There are some shows that have had a good reboot lately, naturally there is a wide range of opinions by fans. I would have mixed feelings about an Animaniacs revival...

Best thing I can say is ask Warner Home Video and see what response you get.
Only edit(s) I heard of (...or saw) in Animaniacs airing on Nickelodeon was at the Wheel of Morality segments. When Yakko replies to Dot's question, "The execs at the Fox Kids Network", 'Fox' is cut out.
Nickelodeon did some similar edits to a couple Pinky and The Brain eps, one about a...
[Holy threadbump history, Batman -- This I'll accept for it's relevant.]
The bold eyebrows make Yakko look like Groucho Marx, but I don't think Dot would want to look like Groucho, too. ;-)
[altered thread title to not make it sound like a TV special]
If it were to happen, I think it would have to be a satire of the WWE, and all animated(no live action).
Opening:
"Pinky and the Brain-ey" (fond memories back in the day of the half hour long Spell-bound ep before they had their own series)
Ending:
Warners: Sit, Ubu, sit.
