What a journey, y'all. Adventure Time premiered April 5th, 2010 when I was 12 and a half years old. Tonight was the final episode, on the date of September 3rd, 2018, where I am 21 years old.
The past 8 years I spent with this show was truly an adventure indeed. Getting to grow up and see the...
So will Total DramaRama premiere 4 new episodes on September 1st? Because it's listed as a 1-hour block. Or have they just not announced what will air after the episode?
Or maybe they'll premiere all the episodes that have been posted to the CN app all throughout that day on TV?
I did this on the Cartoon Network Forum a long time back, so I decided to do it on the Nicktoons Forum just for fun:
Imagine living in a 4 bedroom apartment, and you get to choose 3 Nicktoon characters, old and new, to be your roommates. Who would they be and why?
These are the three I would...
At this point, we can just assume the rest of Season 1 and Season 2 will premiere exclusively on Nicktoons. Either that, or the remaining episodes will be posted on Nick's website and the app.
Sadly, I don't think that would be the safest thing for CN to do since CN and AS have two very separate age demographics, but I understand how you would like to see that happen. Toonami on Cartoon Network actually kind of did that at some points until about late 2008, not combining the blocks...
Pretty interesting that they decided to throw this 3 hour block of '03 Titans at the last minute. I don't know if I'm right, but a certain part from Teen Titans Go! To The Movies recently might have had something to do with this last minute decision (I didn't want to blatantly say what it was in...
Nice to see them playing reruns of the Adventure Time Minecraft special, considering it was the highest rated episode since the Islands miniseries last year.
The 4PM hour is a pretty interesting time to play official premieres for Craig of the Creek. I would think they'd have stuck with primetime. Maybe CN is testing out how after-school premieres work out with their young audiences going back to school, since a lot of schools start back up in August...
Pretty cool that CN decided to premiere the finale on Labor Day, the day before the final season DVD comes out. Also glad we got an official promo/trailer a month and a half in advance.
I'm curious if CN will do an Adventure Time marathon on Labor Day. Even just a marathon of season 10 to...
I think CN definitely did a good job combining the 6-11 demographic shows with the teen and young adult demographic shows back in the mid to late 2000s. For instance, I remember in Miguzi's final days in Spring 2007 when the lineup included Ben 10, Pokemon, and Naruto. It was such a surprise to...
Though CN hasn't gone completely digital yet, I notice that we (I say "we" because I'm guilty of this at times too) tend to get upset when CN doesn't rerun certain programs on their live schedule and dedicate a large chunk of the schedule to Teen Titans Go and Gumball (Not that this is anything...
Thanks so much for the birthday wishes everyone. It's been so dope being somewhat of a recognized member of these forums and threads over the past two years. I love talking cartoons with all of you and am excited to keep doing so!
Interesting that Steven Universe and Adventure Time are the only shows airing their premieres exclusively in primetime. Overall, a pretty dope month with lots of new episodes. It's been really tough for me to catch up with all the new episodes that have aired during the "Best Summer Ever" so...
To be honest, I wouldn't call this time on CN a "dark age" in my opinion. Instead, I'd call it a transition period more so. Look what CN did with Unikitty's series premiere back on January 1st, they played new episodes every hour (Or at least four new episodes the first four hours of the day...
I think it's popularity has still held up well with no decline. They might be saving a huge marathon for July during the week that "Teen Titans Go! To The Movies" comes out if anything.
