Yet another reminder of one of the main subjects of this show.

After seeing Moroha ignored or sidelined in so many episodes, it's good to see her beat the villain all by herself. But now, I hope she and Setsuna reach Towa in time...

So Lupin III is set in a world where Biblical legends are real and mermaids exist. Good to know! Anyway, if we had to have a comedic filler episode, at least it was funny to see Muru misinterpret everything Fujiko and the guys did. I'm wondering why neither Jigen nor Goemon noticed her spying...

Amelia gives me strong "Harley Quinn meets Parker from Leverage" vibes. It was satisfying seeing Grayson get exactly what he deserved... but what happened to the guy he branded? Hope he escaped.

Okay, I understaand that this show might need to do a filler episode once in a while. But why did that episode have to focus on the annoying comic relief squad?

Seems to be "focus on the secondary characters" night on Toonami. At least I actually like Yata and Ariana. Oh, and yes, AS, I know it's almost time for the new season of Rick and Morty. I don't need to see an ad every twelve seconds.

This episode might make a good introduction to Lupin III for someone not familiar with the franchise.

Okay, that was almost as weird as "Darwin's Bird". Were we supposed to like the fashion designer even though she often acted like a spoiled brat? And where was Jigen?

He could have used the jewel to finance her medical practice or given it to charity or let Lupin keep it, but no -- he just had to make a big show of how little it meant to him. Sheesh.

So Jigen killed the entire gang -- except for the one guy he really needed to kill. Nice job!

This poor woman! She keeps running into half-dead guys and has to nurse them back to health. Kidnapping people and never returning them seems like a bad business model. Won't someone catch on eventually? We're getting a whole season's worth of hatless Jigen in this episode.

Some things never change. At least we'll get to see the complete series on Toonami.
