I saw X-Men merchandise in a store in a dream a while back. Hopefully it won't be long until the X-Men make it back to animation and we really see the toys and merch. And the cartoon has to be good.
I was at the panel today, and I hear they had a Japanese animation studio working on Marvel Rising (they didn’t say which).
I missed a lot of the panel, but I talked with one of the storyboard artists for Guardians and he did say the shows really are ending. There’s a lot of uncertainty at the...
I wanna know if there really is a restructuring of Marvel Animation going on, or at least if they're working on new shows to replace the current ones with outsourced animation and writers/showrunners like Chris Yost or Ciro Nieli.
I heard Tom Perkins is leaving Marvel Animation too.
Can't wait to see the DC heroes in the USM style. As bad as the recent cartoons were, their biggest saving grace for me was their art style and designs. USM season 1 was where the art style looked the best.
Spider-Man 2017 would have 52 episodes if it got cancelled after season 2, and Spectacular had 24. In general, action cartoons have been in pretty bad shape this decade (especially Marvel Animation) so hopefully we'll get shows on par with The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Young Justice...
I just read on this link the new Spider-Man show, Avengers Assemble, and Guardians of the Galaxy are all ending. (http://tombcartoonmonkeyskeleton.blogspot.com)
I'm just hoping now more mature and sophisticated Marvel cartoons for older audiences take their place.
I read somewhere the writers for the current shows said in interviews they wanted to do sophisticated, mature stories. That's the kind of thing I'd like to do personally when I work there with my own Marvel Animated Universe and I've brought up my ideas for it a few times now. If you've seen...
I’ve been wondering for a while how people knew Loeb was making mandates over Marvel Animation’s shows and how they were written. I don’t wanna start an argument over the current shows’ quality, but how do people know Loeb’s micromanaging the shows like this?
I'm just hoping for good, mature writing and a presentable art style with shading and good animation. At the least it should look like DC Superhero Girls, and if Jeph Loeb's not involved (I didn't see his name in the credits) it should work out. Loeb wasn't involved in the Rocket and Groot and...
I wanna see a dark, mature X-Men show on Disney XD which would basically be the Avengers: EMH/Spectacular Spidey of the X-Men. It should take cues from all the classic and Ultimate comics and the X-Men movies. I had that in mind to make myself, but I'd like to see that happen. On top of...
