Sorry to bump this thread, but I heard the new heads at Disney Television Animation wants McCracken back, but he's too busy working on Foster's Funtime. If this proves that they want WoY back, I may give Disney another chance! ;)

I loved Discovery Kids since 2003! My favorite show on the channel, aside from Paz the Penguin and Truth or Scare, was Hi-5. I had a huge crush on Karla Mosley back then! :)

As far as I know, CN tried to make Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi the next Powerpuff Girls back in the day, but fans didn't care for it. :rolleyes: The crew weren't given any notice that their show got cancelled! (I contacted Scott O'Brien about the situation by the way!)

I hope it doesn't go through. I have faith that CN will grow stronger than before!

I think it means that Regular Show is slowly gaining its reputation back since 2015, but you're right, though!

Ever since May of 2022, Tom Ascheim, former president of CN, was let go and was replaced by Michael Ouweleen, whose been at CN since the 90's. Under Ouweleen's leadership, he focused his attention on Adult Swim rather than CN itself. He was also the reason why CN Real existed in June of 2009...

That's interesting! I'd thought he retired by now.

What took them long enough to realize this I'll never know. But it wouldn't have never happened if AT&T had not bought Time Warner in the first place!
