I personally think you should; as great as the original score was, the newer soundtrack sounds far more rich and fully rendered, not just on a technical level, but as an overall powerful listening experience. There are many cues on the new score that really rival the original in many ways...

That is indeed correct. The Disney dub of Castle in the Sky in 2003 had a richly reorchestrated dub contributed by Hisaishi himself. But purist complaints caused Disney to revert it to the original Japanese soundtrack for their 2010 DVD. Strangely, though, the BD releases of Castle in the Sky...

Oh definitely for sure. The dub of Castle is pretty damn good all around, but Hamill was its real star. He nailed the character's evil nature to a T and beyond. He really made the dub worthwhile.
