Maybe Warner owns the soundtrack to the Hammer Horror movies so the creators had free range like Looney Tunes with all those classic orchestra pieces but that opening of the work print version is the theme from Twins of Evil:
The final JL theme song is different and unique to be its own piece...
I won't lie my heart skipped a beat at seeing the thread but being digital only put that skipped beat back.
The selection is amazing but would have preferred a physical CD release with art cover and book. Oh well.
Any suggestions on the best format to purchase it digitally?
Season 1 had some clunky episodes but it was the show finding its feet. On repeat viewing I'm reminded of how different the show started. Snapper Carr, Supes with his older look, the brighter palette. And things are played more straight. Diana's Lasso of Truth is just a lasso, and no hint that...
Is it just me or does the joker from Injustice have the similar angular lines in his nose, smile and jawline of Joaquin Phoenix from Joker?
I wonder what makes Superman the go to guy for the superhero that flips it and goes rogue. it is just the old adage that absolute power corrupts...
Yes I thought the commentary tracks were a little sparse, over at Gizmodo it was reported that:
So perhaps the commentaries being referred to are only the new ones? But the ones mentioned at Gizmodo were also on the DVD's too. Maybe they re-recorded them? The Mxyzpixilated video commentary...
Awesome news!
This is a bit sacrilegious but whilst I liked the art style from BTAS, I preferred the pacing from Superman better. The action also had more punch to it.
I look forward to revisiting some of the episodes in HD and hopefully they don't suffer from the transfer issue that marred...
I enjoyed this film and it was really fun to watch. It was interesting to see a Batman that wasn't invulnerable as he wasn't the best at everything - not that I mind that badass version of Batman but it was good to see him in an ensemble cast where he was better for being part of a team.
I...
My opinion only but yes I read it as Deadshot would have killed Batman and the timeline would start branching to where Superman ends up in Hereafter.
You could also say that Batman was exhausted at that point in the storyline so he wasn't as attentive as he would normally be and all the bad...
My quick take. I loved the art style, it's similar to Superman: Man of Tomorrow but I liked it better in the WW2 setting. Wonder Woman's design and animation is both a classic for me and also with brutal and visceral in the way she fights - taking out those Nazi troops at the beginning was...
I'm keen and interested! If it's not a reboot but an in-continuity extension of the 'Timm-verse' following Batman I think it will be tricky from a creative point of view navigating through so much history and making sure there aren't any contradictions or continuity issues.
If it's a reboot -...
Whenever I see the title I feel like wait is this a sequel? Have I seen the first movie? Oh it's World War 2 not part 2.
I'm looking forward the the different cast members getting a showcase like Hourman and Diana's design looks retro but also very timeless.
Perhaps to keep things fresh for the showrunners and to avoid unrealistic comparisons with the nostalgia BTAS but still return to BTAS they could follow Batman, his bat family and rogues post Return of the Joker/JLU/Fatal Five but before that first scene in Batman Beyond. Maybe make it a few...
I liked the movie overall, I've also read the comic book graphic novel upon which it is based so i knew the major beats but was still fun to watch.
I think the movie was was trying to portray that perhaps not every system of government is perfect and each has it flaws, though it probably leans...
Should have used the Justice League season 1 design for that PSA given how weak Superman was in season 1 of JL... if any version of Supes would need to be cautious about getting sick, it would have been that version.:anime:
