I think it was his appearance in JL v TT that seemingly confirmed his demise.

Biggest surprise for me was the major role for I need to rewatch it to catch some more details, but it does look to be much more a modern retelling than faithful adaptation.

Thanks to Amazon shipping my copy of JL:D early, I just finished the preview for Judas Contract. It actually looks pretty good. Considering Justice League versus Teen Titans was a pleasant surprise I dont mind this being a follow-up though there do seem to be a lot of new characters.

Conroy and Hamill allegedly dropped hints at Hush and Death in the Family. Hush seems like the an obvious choice for a remaining classic Batman story that deserves to be adapted. I sort of feel like the 5 minute adaptation of Death in the Family from Under the Red Hood was enough... Now, Death...

Assuming a multiverse, everything can be cannon :)

Glad this one is finally getting made, even if it took more than 10 years. Justice League vs Teen Titans was also a surprisingly enjoyable movie, so I am looking forward to it. Also, even though I get slightly annoyed seeing movies like Dark Knight Returns in the kid section of Target, I admit...
