Eh. But then I'm admittedly VERY anal about coincidence in a story.
It's near the beginning, after Bats and Robin take out those two jewel thieves. Batman pulls out this totally 90's cell phone, which was enormous compared to current ones.
I always liked Mister Freeze, but this movie didn't do him any favors. It could have been boiled down in one episode, for one thing.
My main complaints are related to just how convenient every twist of the plot was. Out of 126 people, 17 of them are compatible with Nora. Out of them, the...
While I'm not trying to harp on a minor issue, let's remember Batman's response when he saw that Superman fried Luthor with his heat vision.
"Well... It had to be done." *Calmly walks out of the room*
Though personally, I think the scene would have been improved with:
*Batman walks into the...
Here's how I see it:
I see Batman stopping Wonder Woman as the moment where Batman had a lapse. He considers Wally almost like a sidekick, there are different spots in JL and JLU where he shows a real love for the little guy, and when he thinks Wally is dead, he's clearly just as shocked as...
What is it with you people wanting to kill everyone? First Wondy, now J'onn. Like if you're not Superman or Batman you've got a target stamped on your forehead.
Here's the thing about the Cadmus arc: EVERYBODY made mistakes. We know that Hamilton, Waller, and Hamilton* were in the wrong in HOW they went about protecting the world, but they were the good guys in their own minds.
The Justice League were also the good guys, in their own minds. While they...
Try watching the Cadmus arc again, and you may not be so harsh on him. He did stupid things, but like it or not, Superman DID scare him, Superman DID put the world in danger because of Darksied, and Superman DID take over the world in the future. While he went about it in the wrong way...
In my mind, he comes to trust that Superman and the League won't go nuts. Keep in mind, that's different from trusting Superman with his life: Just trusting him not to go nuts and kill a bunch of people.
However, he feels awful for what he allowed Luthor and Brainiac to almost do, and drops out...
As someone who watched probably 80% of the episodes, I agree with this entirely. At least the other poor seasons were ambitious and kind of went out on a limb, this entire last season was just one huge missed opportunity after another. It could have been written by children.
For one, they could have had the entire league in three or four episodes, rather than have them come in one at a time for the entire season.
They could also have just... Not done a season on the League. In all fairness, it might just come down to writer competence. Even the non-league episodes...
I really hate to be that guy, the jerk who bashes a show because it tries something new, but they really shouldn't have gone after the entirety of the Justice League if they could only give each character one episode.
Superman's teamup was good because it was necessary, and it was given a full...
