Yeah. I kind of agree. That was one of my favorites when it was on. But I didn't have cable growing up and that was sort of one of my few means of watching classic cartoons, but after seeing the toons on CN when I moved into the dorm I realize how much they were butchered on ABC. It's always...
Yeah. I knew that about Donatello since my brother is a fan of TMNT, except I think it's the third season you're thinking of because that season was made in a hurry as it was the first made for syndication.
Anyway, thanks for that info about Brainy. Ever since I heard that he was voiced by...
Well, Papa did sound a bit different in the first season. Come to think of it his voice was deeper in the season 3 ep "Smurfette for a Day," so it makes one wonder if Don did have an understudy for Papa Smurf. Though a lot of Smurfs sound different in the first season and SFAD may have been...
.
No. I think they all had the regular opening theme with the only cold opening being the episode where Cleveland returns. (Save for the two eps with Vinny in Brian's place in the opening.) But it's just as well, I think they had a few too many last season. In my opinion, the main theme is...
Anything but the super-long "Naked Gun" parody that opened PTV works for me. Maybe they could spoof a sitcom like "Full House" or "Boy Meets Word" or "Family Matters." Hey "Family Matters," "Family Guy," That would totally work. "It's the bigger love of the fam-i-ly.... guy."
Hmmmm. Does it have something to do with that character by your name and his name rhymes with 'skinny?' :)
I was actually wondering what happened to AD this year. I don't watch it, but I was curious as to why they moved "Family Guy" to the 8:30 time slot this season and put that "Cosmos"...
Yeah. Rosie only appeared in two episodes of season one despite her being in the season one end credits. Now I did like those since they sort of parallel the Flintstones end credits. But the fact that we saw more of Rosie, Astro and others in the 80s seasons is one reason to give the 80s my...
Yeah. As much as I love "Scooby-Doo" that's the only Hanna-Barbera project Warner seems to be working on these days. Well, that and "Tom and Jerry." It's about time they did something new with Fred, Barney and the gang.
Actually I was a little disappointed that only made two episodes this season, actually just one since the intro was sort of interrupted last week. Still I didn't think it made much sense to change the intro with just a few episodes remaining. They probably should have just held off until next...
Yeah. I remember they replaced the shot of the robot shooting the gun with a shot of Scooby plugging his ears in later prints of that one probably because they were concerned about the violence there.
Yeah. That is a good question, especially considering the fact that he can no longer speak. Sadly he may not be with us too much longer, but he surely will be greatly remembered for his voice work as Shaggy and many others over the years.
That's the season finale?
So I guess we won't see Vinny or more of Cleveland or whatever until next season. Oh, well.
Highlights in this episode: Lois's line in the theme song. "The Muppet Movie" reference.
