I think they're perfectly justified in NOT having Superman show up. Beyond the fact he doesnt really fit the JLI thing they've got going on here, it's a Batman based show. Of course Batman's going to be the main focus. What point is there for Supes to show up, other then to make DCAU fans...

Whacky Orihime's back! HUZZAH! Considering how much I LOVED the first arc of Bleach, and how much the story dragged on since that point (for me) a return to that earlier feel is much welcomed.

*chants* Please happen, please happen, please happen! An episode 1 that shows a typical 'bad end' of the time loop, with most of the cast dying, and then starting over to show the 'true' end all the way from the beginning would be fun. :D Would need at at least one ep with Kokonoa showing...

International market concerns. In many countries it is flat out ILLEGAL to show any sort of Nazi imagery. It's often easier to make a nazi like enemy then to use actual nazis. It also avoids making Germany feel like that's all they were ever known for.

I couldnt stand the hypocrisy, honestly. I always have to laugh at the ridiculousness of someone from the Soviet Union or China complaining about American pollution. Have you SEE what those governments have done to their ecosystems? The Overpopulation one especially. Most first world...

Liking/Wanting something to happen and expecting it are two completely seperate things. I'd love a Hayate dub myself, but it's got a snowball's chance in hell of ever getting a dub. This isnt fantasy land and I dont have any unrealistic expectations. I'm happy it got a release at all.

Because both Lucky Star and Haruhi had extremely high popularity ratings in Japan, and they were hoping it would do as well in the US? Hayate is nowhere near as popular as those two shows were. It's a wonder they decided to bring it over at all.

I think they replaced the shortcuts with 'Beginner Modes' one button actions, although I'm not sure HOW that one works.
