I stick with VHS for movies. They're cheaper usually and older movies sometimes look far worse on DVD (War of the Worlds comes to mind which cost me about 25 or 50 cents) and furthermore they tend to be likelier to work. Stumbled upon Tom and Jerry on Boomerang yesterday and I noticed they changed the print of Heavenly Puss (which is one of my most disliked HB tom and jerry shorts)

I can easily go back to an episode like PTV or Chitty Chitty Death Bang, but I can't go into episodes like Barely Legal or Long John Peter. It's not like it's my taste issues, it's because the writers have gone into complete negligence 101.
