This episode.
Oh man this episode is amazing. They take The Status Quo is God trope and destroy it, opening many new opportunities for stories. Not to mention, it really blew away my expectations. Upon going in, this episode looked like just your typical "Cutie Mark Crusaders try to earn their...
This one is not really bad as a parent, but so oblivious, it makes the other oblivious parents look like Einstein.
I bring you Linda Flynn from Phineas and Ferb. After thinking back on the show, she must've been blind or deaf or something. Yes, Phineas and Ferb's invention do disappear before...
I think the issue is so many shows get the mean-spirited humor wrong. Mean-spiritedness can work in cartoons. Heck, you could argue it dates back as far as Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. It's just that writers of shows think that just making a character get tormented is instantly funny without...
Cartoon Network: Clearly 2009. That was the year where they made no new cartoons and made a bunch of live action shows. None of these said shows were intriguing and were just clones of other game shows/reality shows. So really, if you wanted to watch the stuff on these shows, just watch the...
I liked this episode. Worth the wait of the hiatus. The song was easily the highlight of it. It may sound similar to Art of the Dress in some way but it's still nice to listen too.
As a kid, I was really bothered by the show Robotboy. I remember finding the characters boring and the episodes being annoying. I watched Pokemon at the time and even I couldn't stand the repetitiveness of Robotboy. Maybe because I didn't like any of the characters especially the fat kid.
I...
I heard the animation for the first season was hand drawn and done by Warner Brothers but I might be wrong on that.
For another bias, I tend to prefer comedy shows over action. Maybe because a lot of action shows bored me growing up but who knows. Which is why my favorite superhero show is Teen...
I tend to like a show better if it has a really hyper female character (I.E. Pinkie Pie, Mabel Pines, Star Butterfly, etc.) and yes, they are usually my favorite character in said show.
I like an episode of a show less if most of it feels kind of cruel or just feels like it's out to get one...
If I did post in this thread, I guess I better update:
MLP:FIM
Gravity Falls
Steven Universe
Star Vs. The Forces of Evil
Rick and Morty
South Park
Harvey Beaks
We Bare Bears
Total Drama The Ridonculous Race
Did anyone notice how in the end when Connie was telling her mom she loves her, Steven looked at Rose's sword, hugged it and looked very bittersweet? Some deep stuff there.
This season is interesting. I was kind of shocked with the new host. Did Chris go to jail again?
I do like the idea of the teams of two and the characters having varying ages. It allows for more opportunities for perspectives.
Though I'm really mixed on the characters themselves. A lot of...
An overall enjoyable episodes. I especially liked the scene where they were loud in the library. The irony just works there. Though I do have some nitpicks with this episode:
Does this theater have any sort of security? I find it weird how most of these people can get away with having their...
Yeah it does seem like a cheap attempt at trying to imitate Star Butterfly and characters similar like Mabel Pines and Pinkie Pie without realizing what makes those characters work.
