Well, time to resurrect this thread with a quote from Tom Ruegger about The 7D's demise:
It sounds like Disney really never had faith in The 7D to begin with and were interested in other things, so they shipped it off to Disney XD instead of staying on Disney Junior. But it became one DXD's...
Apologies for taking too long to respond! :)
I don't know how to respond to that...
I've been thinking about this, too. Younger children wouldn't be allowed to be on social media, but will talk about cartoons to their friends in school.
I'm not so sure about Steven Universe and Adventure...
The Loud House, like Welcome to the Wayne, is nominated for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program, as well as Outstanding Directing at the 2018 Daytime Emmys!
I have a feeling that Nick is using the success of The Loud House to promote its live-action series. :p
I myself asked this to my friends on Twitter a few days ago. Currently, SvtFoE is the No. 1-rated series on DXD, and it has a huge following ever since the opening intro has gained attention at the 2014 San Diego Comic Con. Which is fine, but the way I see it is that for some reason Disney felt...
That's something I forgot to mention. Serialized series don't shy away completely from having some silly moments. Even when they do have them, many fans really don't care about them and watch the episodes only for the plots.
Another thing I didn't mention is that whenever a serialized series...
I actually had assumptions long ago that Disney is actively looking for new series to cash in on the success of Gravity Falls and Star vs. the Forces of Evil. And I'm not surprised by this news, considering that the company isn't seemingly backing the traditional animated comedies on Disney...
At least that’s what I think so, almost.* The landscape of television animation changes a lot, and on this day we see the rise of series with deep, emotional stories and lore. Series such as Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Steven Universe are good examples. While...
Well, the ending of "Fool's Paradise" made it obvious that there would be a third April Fools episode. And I don't think your response holds any weight as there are people, myself included, who enjoyed those episodes.
Also, can we just enjoy watching cartoons and not taking them way too seriously?
In the podcast featuring the series' writers last year, it was mentioned that this season will go into emotional themes. So, it's fitting that it showcased it by kicking the new season off with "Roadie to Nowhere". And I have to say that after watching it, I was disappointed for the most part...
I've watched some of the most recent episodes, and it appears that Amanda has gotten less screen time. She even appeared only once (and for a very short time) in "Adventures in Beastysitting".
