But we still didn't know the reason he hated his brother, that's why we found out Rigby's older. =P Otherwise, Rigby'd just be a jerk.
Anyway, I'm with Blankments on this, I liked this one a lot. Tons of character development (oodles of it with Rigby, but we also learned a bit about...
Nothing really stood out to me, but I do enjoy watching it and can imagine it getting better down the line. Thrasher and Blastus need to be a little more different from each other, though. They have some of the basic differences of main characters (one is reserved and one is outgoing), but that...
I think Benson's face just turns red like most cartoon characters, but it's made of glass so it looks like the gumballs are changing color too.
I didn't notice Rigby's size changing. As long as he's a lot shorter than Mordecai, it looks right to me. XD
Don't most cartoons (or comedies in...
I thought this episode was perfect. It involved a lot of different characters (was surprised to see the marauders come back), had a touching emotional side, and its scary stuff was done terrificly. My favorite part, aside from Jake's hilariously lame cameo, was Gunther's scene and Ice King's...
That thing a few of you have mentioned about the Great Mushroom War is news to me, and while trying to figure out where this came up, I've discovered so many secrets I didn't know about the show. Mostly through Pen Ward's formspring (which I've now spent hours browsing). It's really getting me...
The voices for Bubblegum, Marceline, and Lady all recorded together recently (http://frederatorblogs.com/adventure_time/2010/09/29/a-lady-a-queen-and-a-princess-walk-into-a-studio/) so hopefully the PB and Marceline rivalry will come up. This was supposedly late in the season, but it's also...
Oh yeah, I also meant to say that I'm looking forward to season 2. Although you can't tell much from an episode titles, I remember most of the ones they posted on the blog sounded more serious and/or deep. I don't have time to check right now, and I know there were better ones than this (I...
I agree that that episode was really nicely set up and would be a good way to structure future episodes, but to be fair, that episode had the formula as well. In that case it was "setting up the chairs - > montage of Mordecai winning video games - > 8-Bit Destroyer of Worlds - > resolution."...
It feels like there's a lot of negativity about it lately, at least on here. However, a lot of the recent episodes have been some of my favorites and I love the dialogue and art in the show. The only complaint I can think of is an awkwardness in some scenes, not in the sense that the characters...
He was actually very small in that shot of Rigby getting airlifted to a hospital. I feel like I saw him make a few other cameos in the episode too, but maybe not...
EVERYONE references the 80s, especially the montages, I don't even keep track anymore..
I'm so desensitized to that song that I didn't even realize they were using licensed music again until the montage was over. XD
I kinda wish Mordecai had really gotten hurt so Rigby would really be the winner, but it was nice enough to see that Mordecai cares. Reminds me of when Mordecai let...
Margaret's description on CN's website says she's a robin red-breast, but she looks a lot more like a cardinal.. I wonder if that was a mistake on CN's part or if the artists didn't realize robin red-breasts weren't that red.. I don't know much about birds, so maybe there's some that are as...
I love this show more than I can think to describe... CN's list of shows I like is growing rapidly, even with the recent departure of Flapjack. I can't wait for more Regular Show episodes!
Hamboning = using body percussion to make music. It's not a dirty joke.
I really liked how the live action was handled and how a lot of things from previous episodes came back (I always forget about the mermen...). I liked how much emphasis there was on the alcohol/drug aspect of candy in Flapjack, and a lot of things about this episode made it a really good ending...
He said it's the last episode of Flapjack (like, right in the title of the journal), and to any comment he gets asking if it's a joke, he says "nay." The show's over.
And yes, that's the episode title, and on the schedule 'Fish Out of Water' airs at 8:45 (on the 30th, I think...) after...
