I think they're just trying to standardize what a season means for the network. It's varies from each individual season to season and show to show, which can be confusing.

JK Simmons (before he left the project) said it was set in the '70s, and set photos of the helicopters and other hardware seem to back this up.

Woohoo! Scrooge's jacket back to its comics-accurate color and Donald in on the action. I suppose my hope that this new DuckTales would be closer to the Barks comics may come true!

I'm honestly not sure that they'll make it to the 12 episode goal. They might, but I don't wanna get my hopes up... but I'm pretty certain they'll at least reach the 9 episodes. Can't wait!

Hellboy. Been following it since '04, right after the first movie came out. Picked up the latest issue last week. Of course, these days the series has split: Mike Mignola still writes and draws Hellboy's continuing adventures in Hellboy in Hell, and Mike writes or co-writes a flashback series...

Though audiophiles have their reasons for appreciating vinyl I think there are other reasons more casual fans like them: they're cool! You have the awesome, big covers, and the action of the player with the revolving record and the needle and such... there's just a fun to the action of it.

My thoughts are very similar. I rarely blind-buy, but if I'm sure I want something (either by already seeing it or being a huge fan of the director/actor/series) I want a physical copy. I want the ability to truly own the thing, and the ability to watch and rewatch the thing decades into the...
